Prizes in Mega Lotto are split proportionately to the winners of each prize tier. This is the reason why the minor prizes are sometimes lower than the standard amount.

To win the Jackpot, you must match all 6 numbers. The Initial Jackpot Prize (IJP) for Megalotto 6/45 is 8,910,000.00 (net of agent’s prize commission). If no one wins the jackpot in a particular MegaLotto 6/45 draw, the prize amount is carried forward into the next MegaLotto 6/45 draw. If there is more than one jackpot winner, the Jackpot prize will then be divided equally among all the winners.

6/45 Mega Lotto System Bets – Increase your Odds of Winning the Jackpot
You can improve your chances of winning the jackpot through 6/45 Lotto System Bets. This advanced option allows you to pick more than the usual six (6) numbers and produces several combinations of your chosen numbers.
These are the choices available in case you want to play system bets- System 7, System 8, System 9, System 10, System 11, System 12 and System 5-Roll (System 5R).
A total of seven (7) combinations are produced in System 7 because a player who picks this option would need to choose seven (7) numbers. In System 8, on the other hand, 28 combinations are produced because the bettor will need to choose a total of eight (8) numbers out of the numbers 1 to 45.
To sum it up, more and more number combinations are created as the selected numbers increase. This same rule applies to the rest of the remaining system bets.

You win a prize by getting at least three (3) numbers of the winning Megalotto number combination. The more matching numbers, the bigger the prizes you will receive.
If you got three (3) out of the six (6) winning numbers, you win PhP 30, four (4) out of six (6) gives you a prize equal to PhP 1,000 while five (5) out of six (6) gives you a fixed amount equal to PhP 32,000.
Matching all the numbers gives you the jackpot prize worth at least PhP 8.9 Million.
You can improve your chances of winning by opting for a system play. With this option, you can choose up to 12 numbers per column in the bet card, thereby producing up to 924 number combinations.
You can choose from seven available system plays. These are the System 5-Roll and System 7 up to System 12.
