PCSO uses a payout structure for 6/49 Superlotto based on ‘pari mutuel’ betting system. Parimutuel works by pooling all lottery bets in a certain draw, then dividing the pool by the total number of winners.
Below is the updated prize tiers of the Super Lotto 6/49:
- If you matched six (6) numbers of the winning number combination in any order, you win the current jackpot prize for Superlotto 6/49. Its initial jackpot begins at PhP 15,840,000.
- A second prize worth PhP 50,000 awaits those who will get five (5) out of the six (6) number drawn.
- If you got four (4) numbers of the winning number combination, you receive a fixed amount worth PhP 1,200.
- If you got three (3) numbers of the winning combination, you receive a prize of PhP 50.
Note that all winnings above PhP 10,000 are subject to 20% tax.

How to Play 6/49 Super Lotto
Before proceeding further, please note that PCSO only allows persons 18 years old and above to play.
Here’s how you can play the Lotto 6/49:
- Go to the nearest authorized PCSO lotto agent and get a bet card with Super Lotto 6/49 logo.
- Choose a set of six (6) numbers from one (1) to Forty-Nine (49) in each column of the play slip.
- Mark the Lucky Pick (LP) option in case you have no combination in mind. This option allows the terminal to randomly choose the numbers for you.
- You can also pick up to twelve (12) numbers using the 6/49 Lotto System Play to improve your chances of winning the jackpot.
- If you want to join multiple draws, mark the number of succeeding draws in the Draw section.
- Give your playing card and corresponding payment to the cashier and get your ticket once it is generated.
- See the 6/49 Lotto Result right after the live draw to verify if your ticket matches the winning number combination.
Each Super Lotto 6/49 combination costs PhP 20. If you played any of the System Bets, the total bet amount would range from PhP 140 to PhP 18,480, depending on the overall number of combinations generated. The ticket price includes a 20% Documentary Stamp Tax (DST).
Make sure to sign the back of the your 6/49 Super Lotto ticket after placing your bet and to store the ticket in a safe and dry place.
Do not iron, fold, wet or tamper with your 6/49 Super Lotto ticket. Tickets are heat-sensitive and they have to be validated by the machine before you can claim your prize.
To win a prize, you need to match at least three winning numbers. The more numbers you match, the greater your prize. For matching six numbers you win the JACKPOT amount.
Additional Health and Safety Reminders when Playing Lotto 6/49
Amidst this pandemic, PCSO imposed the following regulations in all lotto outlets in the country.
- Put on your face mask at all times. No Facemask-No Betting system shall be observed in all PCSO outlets nationwide.
- Always observe one (1) meter physical distance from each other.
- Bring your own pen when placing bets.
- Use the tray provided when handing out your playing card and payment.
- Apply sanitizers or disinfectants before you leave the lotto outlet.
- Use the trash cans provided to throw away used bet slips and/or non-winning tickets.
Super Lotto 6/49 System Plays – How to Improve your Odds of Winning
You can improve your chances of winning the jackpot through 6/49 Lotto System Bets. This advanced option allows you to pick more than the usual six (6) numbers and produces numerous combinations of your chosen numbers.
These are the choices available in case you want to play system bets- System 7, System 8, System 9, System 10, System 11, System 12 and System 5-Roll (System 5R).
A total of seven (7) combinations are created in System 7 because a player who picks this option would have to pick seven (7) numbers. In System 8, on the other hand, 28 combinations are generated because the bettor will need to pick a total of eight (8) numbers out of the numbers 1 to 49.
To sum it up, more and more number combinations are generated as the selected numbers increase. This same rule applies to the rest of the remaining system plays.
In the case of System 5R, the player will only need to select five (5) numbers. The remaining (unmarked) 44 numbers will be combined with the 5 chosen numbers. This generates a total of 44 combinations.
Please note that the higher the number of combinations, the higher the total bet cost will be. The total ticket price is PhP 20 multiplied by the number of combinations produced.

What are the ways to win in 6/49 Lotto?
In 6/49 Super Lotto, you win a prize by matching at least three (3) out of the six (6) drawn numbers. More matching number means higher prizes for you.
If you match three (3) out of the six (6) winning numbers, you win PhP 50, four (4) out of six (6) wins you a prize in the amount of PhP 1,200 while five (5) out of six (6) gives you a fixed prize equal to PhP 50,000.
Matching all the numbers gives you the jackpot prize worth no less than PhP 15.84 Million.
Increase your chances of winning using a system play. This option allows you to select up to 12 numbers rather than just 6, thus creating a bigger number of combinations.
You can select from seven available system plays. These are the System 5-Roll and System 7 up to System 12.
Ticket price is PhP 20 times the total number of produced combinations.

What if I made a mistake in marking my 6/49 Lotto numbers?
To cancel or disregard a specific 6/49 Super Lotto number combination, mark the VOID directly below it before handing over the play card to the cashier.
Please note that you can only void your Super Lotto 6/49 number combination before purchasing the ticket. Any 6/49 Lotto entry that has been accepted by the computer can no longer be canceled or voided.
How many combinations are there in System 12 for 6/49 Super Lotto?
System 12 is the Super Lotto system bet that lets players to pick a total of twelve (12) numbers instead of the typical six (6) numbers. This play type generates 924 combinations in all and costs PhP 18,480 (Php 20 x 924 combinations).
To play System 12, just select your preferred 12-number combination and then mark the number 12 in the SYS column of the 6/49 Lotto play slip.
How many Advance Draws can I play in Lotto 6/49?
You can play up to 5 draws in advance or a total of 6 draws including the current draw. To play in advance, just select your preferred number of advanced plays in the DRAW section of the bet card. Your Superlotto entry shall then be played multiple times according to the number of draws you marked.
For example, if you selected 6 Draws, your chosen Superlotto 6/49 combination will be valid for the six (6) consecutive 6/49 Lotto draws including the present draw.
How many combinations are there in System 10 for 6/49 Super Lotto?
System 10 is the Superlotto 6/49 system bet that lets bettors to choose a total of ten (10) numbers instead of the typical six (6) numbers. This play type creates 210 combinations in all and costs PhP 4,200 (Php 20 x 210 combinations).
To play System 10, simply pick your preferred 10-number combination and then mark the number 10 in the SYS column of the 6/49 Lotto bet card.
What does DST stand for?
DST or Documentary Stamp Tax is a 20% tax imposed on lotto ticket prices by the government by virtue of the Tax Reform for Acceleration and Inclusion Law (TRAIN Act).
PCSO commenced adding 20% DST on the prices of its tickets when the law came into force in 2018. As a result, 2D (EZ2), 3D (Swertres), 4D and 6D Lotto ticket prices increased from PhP 10 to PhP 12 while the 6/42, 6/45, 6/49, 6/55 and 6/49 Lotto tickets went up from PhP 20 to PhP 24.
On July 18, 2020, PCSO reverted the price of its major lotto games to Php 20.
How do I claim my Lotto 6/49 Prize?
If you won in any of the Superlotto draws today, pay attention to these helpful tips when claiming your prize.
To claim Superlotto winnings below PhP 5,000, proceed to the nearest authorized lotto outlet or nearest PCSO branch and present your winning ticket.
Winnings above PhP 5,000 but not exceeding PhP 20,000 can be claimed at the nearest PCSO branch office.
Lotto prizes above PhP 20,000 can only be claimed at the PCSO main office located at 605 Conservatory Bldg., Shaw Blvd. corner Priceton St., Mandaluyong City.

PCSO Official Announcements & Press Statements
February 10, 2021– PCSO alerts the betting public against purchasing lotto tickets from alleged PCSO employees through a supposed ‘online’ betting system. The agency said it has no such system yet in place that will support such transactions.
January 6, 2021– PCSO announces the resumption of 6D and 4D Lotto draws.
July 20, 2020– PCSO resumes its lotto operations on August 4, 2020 after suspending it for seveal months due to COVID-19 pandemic.
July 18, 2020– PCSO reverts to the original ticket prices of its all major games. Ticket prices were previously increased to PhP 24 following the implementation of the TRAIN Act.
