PCSO uses a prize system for 6/49 Super Lotto based on ‘pari mutuel’ betting system. Parimutuel works by pooling all lotto bets in a given draw, then dividing the pool by the total number of winners.
The following is the updated prize range of the 6/49 Super Lotto:
- Jackpot prize awaits those who will get six (6) out of the six (6) drawn numbers in any order. Jackpot prize starts at PhP 15,840,000.

How to Play Super Lotto 6/49
Before continuing, note that only 18 years old and above are permitted to play.
Here’s how you can play the 6/49 Lotto:
- Go to a PCSO-authorized lotto outlet near you and grab the Super Lotto 6/49 betting card.
- Select a set of six (6) numbers from one (1) to Forty-Nine (49) in each column of the bet slip.
- If you cannot think of any number combination, choose Lucky Pick (LP) to let the terminal pick the number combination for you.
- Improve your chances of winning the jackpot using the 6/49 Lotto System Play.
- Choose the number of consecutive draws you want to join in the Draw section.
- Give your playing card and corresponding payment to the cashier and get your ticket after it is generated.
- After the draw, access the 6/49 Lotto Result to verify if you won the prize.
Each 6/49 Super Lotto combination costs PhP 20. If you played any of the System Bets, the total play amount would range from PhP 140 to PhP 18,480, depending on the overall number of combinations generated. The ticket price includes a 20% Documentary Stamp Tax (DST).
Make sure to sign the back of the your Super Lotto ticket after placing your bet and to store the ticket in a safe and dry place.
Your Super Lotto ticket must be machine-validated before you can claim your prize. Hence, do not iron, fold, wet or tamper with your ticket.
To win a prize, you need to match at least three winning numbers. The more numbers you match, the greater your prize. For matching six numbers you win the JACKPOT amount.
New Health and Safety Regulations to be Observed when Playing 6/49 Lotto
Amidst this pandemic, PCSO imposed the following protocol in all lotto outlets in the country.
- Always wear your face mask. Players with no face mask will not be permitted to place 6/49 Lotto bets.
- Always observe one (1) meter physical distance from each other.
- Bring your own pen when buying lotto tickets.
- Use the money tray to eliminate contact.
- Use sanitizers or alcohols before you leave the lotto outlet.
- Avoid littering and put away used play slip or old tickets in the trash cans.
Superlotto System Plays – Learn How to Increase the Chances of Winning
6/49 Lotto System Bets allow players to pick more than the typical six (6) numbers per draw, thereby increasing their chances of winning the jackpot.
The system bets available in 6/49 Lotto are System 7, System 8, System 9, System 10, System 11, System 12 and System 5-Roll (System 5R).
A total of seven (7) combinations are created in System 7 because a bettor who marks this option would need to mark seven (7) numbers. In System 8, on the other hand, 28 combinations are produced because the bettor will have to select a total of eight (8) numbers out of the numbers 1 to 49.
The total number of combinations increases as the marked numbers increase. The same rule applies for System 9, System 10, System 11 and System 12.
In the case of System 5-Roll, the bettor will only need to choose five (5) numbers. The remaining (unselected) 44 numbers will be combined with the 5 chosen numbers. This produces a total of 44 six-number combinations.
Please remember that your overall ticket cost will be much higher in system bets due to the higher number of combinations you will bet on. The overall ticket price shall be PhP 20 times the number of combinations generated.

How can I win prizes in Super Lotto 6/49?
You win a prize by matching at least three (3) numbers of the drawn Superlotto 6/49 combination. The more matching numbers, the higher the prizes you will win.
If you match three (3) out of six (6), you get PhP 50. Four (4) out of six (6) gives you a fixed prize equal to PhP 1,200 while five (5) out of six (6) gives you a prize equal to PhP 50,000.
Matching all the winning numbers wins you the jackpot prize worth no less than PhP 15.84 Million.
You can increase your odds of getting the jackpot by selecting up to 12 numbers using a system bet. This type of bet generates a bigger number of combinations which ranges from 7 to 924 combinations.
You can select from seven available system plays. These are the System 5R and System 7 up to System 12.
Ticket price shall be based on the total number of created combinations.

How many 6/49 Lotto draws can I play in advance?
You can play up to 5 draws in advance or a total of 6 draws including the current draw. To play in advance, just pick your desired number of advanced plays in the DRAW section of the playing card. Your 6/49 Superlotto entry will then be played multiple times based on the number of draws you marked.
For example, if you selected 6 Draws, your chosen 6/49 Lotto combination shall be valid for the six (6) consecutive Superlotto 6/49 draws including the present draw.
What if I cannot think of any Super Lotto 6/49 number to play?

What does DST stand for?
DST or Documentary Stamp Tax is a 20% tax imposed on lotto ticket prices by the government by virtue of the Tax Reform for Acceleration and Inclusion Act (TRAIN Law).
PCSO began adding 20% DST on the prices of its tickets when the law came into effect in 2018. Thus, 2D (EZ2), 3D (Swertres), 4D and 6D Lotto ticket prices rose from PhP 10 to PhP 12 while the 6/42, 6/45, 6/49, 6/55 and 6/49 Lotto tickets increased from PhP 20 to PhP 24.
On July 18, 2020, PCSO returned the price of its major lotto games to Php 20.
Will there be any lotto draw during Holy Week?
PCSO normally suspends its lotto draws during major holidays such as December 25 (Christmas), January 1 (New Year), Maundy Thursday, Good Friday, Black Saturday, and Easter Sunday. In other special holidays such as December 24 (Christmas Eve) and December 31 (New Year’s Eve), PCSO modifies its draw schedule so that all draws are finished early in the day.
