PCSO employs a payout system for Super Lotto based on ‘pari mutuel’ wagering system. Parimutuel works by pooling all lottery bets in a given draw, then split the pool by the total number of winners.
Here are the different prizes for each range of the Super Lotto payout table:
- If you got six (6) numbers of the winning combination in any order, you win the current jackpot for the Lotto 6/49 game. The top prize begins at PhP 15,840,000.
- If you got five (5) numbers of the winning combination, you receive a second prize worth PhP 50,000.
- If you got four (4) numbers of the winning combination, you get a prize of PhP 1,200.
- If you got three (3) numbers of the winning combination, you take home PhP 50.

How to Play 6/49 Lotto
Before continuing, keep in mind that PCSO only allows persons 18 years old and above to play.
Here’s the complete instructions for playing this popular million-peso game:
- Go to any lottery outlet authorized by PCSO near you and grab the Super Lotto 6/49 play slip.
- Mark six (6) numbers that will comprise your 6/49 Lotto combination. You can select from numbers 1 to 49.
- Choose LP (Lucky Pick) if you want the terminal to randomly pick the number combination for you.
- You can also select up to twelve (12) numbers through the 6/49 Lotto System Play to raise your odds of winning the jackpot.
- For multiple draws, mark the number of succeeding draws you want to join in the Draw panel.
- Pay the ticket price and get your printed ticket once done.
- See the 6/49 Lotto Result after the 9 PM scheduled draw to verify if you won a prize.
Superlotto 6/49 ticket costs PhP 20 per number combination. This amount already includes the 20% Documentary Stamp Tax (DST).
Make sure to sign the back of the the Super Lotto 6/49 ticket after placing your bet and to store the ticket in a secure and dry place.
Do not iron, fold, wet or tamper with your 6/49 Super Lotto ticket. Tickets are heat-sensitive and they have to be validated by the machine before you can claim your prize.
How to Play: Mark the selected six numbers from 1 to 49 on a playslip using blue or black ink or a pencil. Or you can play for a Lucky Pick (LP) if you want to have your selections picked randomly. You can play up to 6 advance draws by simply marking the preferred number of draws in the DRAW panel.
Important PCSO Rules to be Followed when Playing Lotto 6/49
Amidst this pandemic, PCSO imposed the following guidelines in all lotto outlets nationwide.
- Always wear your face mask. Players with no face mask will not be permitted to purchase 6/49 Lotto tickets.
- Observe physical distancing at all times while in the outlet.
- Bring your own ball pen.
- Place the bet slips and cash in the tray provided by the lotto outlet to minimize physical contact.
- Sanitize your hands before and after betting. Hand sanitizers or alcohols are available in the betting area.
- Put away your used play slip and old lotto tickets into the trash bin.
6/49 Super Lotto System Bets – Increase the Odds of Winning
6/49 Lotto System Bets allow players to pick more than the typical six (6) numbers per draw, thereby increasing their chances of winning the jackpot.
If you want to try system plays, these are the options you can choose from- System 5-Roll (System 5R), System 7, System 8, System 9, System 10, System 11 and System 12.
A total of seven (7) combinations are generated in System 7 because a bettor who marks this option would need to mark seven (7) numbers. In System 8, on the other hand, 28 combinations are created because the player will need to select a total of eight (8) numbers out of the numbers 1 to 49.
The more numbers chosen, the higher the number of combinations created. Same rule applies in System 9, System 10, System 11 and in System 12.
With regard to System 5R, the bettor selects five (5) numbers instead of six. These 5 numbers are automatically matched with the remaining forty-four (44) numbers, generating 44 combinations in all.
Remember that your total ticket cost will be much higher in system bets due to the higher number of combinations you will bet on. The overall cost of the ticket shall be PhP 20 multiplied by the number of combinations produced.

How to win a prize in Lotto 6/49?
You win a prize by matching at least three (3) numbers of the winning Super Lotto 6/49 combination. The more matching numbers, the bigger the prizes you will receive.
If you got three (3) out of six (6), you take home PhP 50. Four (4) out of six (6) gives you a fixed prize equal to PhP 1,200 while five (5) out of six (6) gives you a prize equal to PhP 50,000.
If you got all the numbers, you win the jackpot prize which starts at PhP 15.84 Million.
You can increase your chances of winning by opting for a system bet. With this option, you can choose up to 12 numbers per column in the playing card, thus generating up to 924 combinations.
The system plays you can select from are the System 5R and System 7 up to System 12.
Ticket price is PhP 20 multiplied by the overall number of created combinations.

What is Documentary Stamps Tax?
DST or Documentary Stamp Tax is a 20% tax levied on PCSO lotto ticket prices by the government by virtue of the Tax Reform for Acceleration and Inclusion Law (TRAIN Law).
PCSO commenced adding 20% DST on the prices of its tickets when the law took effect in 2018. As a result, 2D (EZ2), 3D (Swertres), 4D and 6D Lotto ticket prices went up from PhP 10 to PhP 12 while the 6/42, 6/45, 6/49, 6/55 and 6/49 Lotto tickets went up from PhP 20 to PhP 24.
On July 18, 2020, PCSO returned the price of its major lotto games to Php 20.

How can I choose more than 6 numbers in the 6/49 Lotto bet slip?
You can select more than 6 numbers by playing any of the system plays for Superlotto. You can choose from System 7 (7 numbers), System 8 (8 numbers), System 9 (8 numbers), System 10 (10 numbers), System 11 (11 numbers) and System 12 (12 numbers).
You can also mark only 5 numbers using the System 5-Roll. Take note that the total number of combinations is considered when computing the total ticket price.
For instance, a System 7 play costs PhP 140 because it generates 7 combinations in all.
How much does a Superlotto System 9 ticket cost?
System 9 allows you to pick a nine (9) number combination instead of the usual combination composed of six (6) numbers. This type of 6/49 Superlotto system play generates a total of 84 combinations and costs PhP 1,680 (Php 20 x 84 combinations).
To play System 9, just choose your preferred 9-number combination and then mark the number 9 in the SYS panel of the 6/49 Lotto playing card.
How can a specific combination in the 6/49 Super Lotto play slip disregarded?
To cancel or disregard a specific Superlotto number combination, mark the VOID directly below it before handing over the betting card to the teller.
Please note that you can only void your 6/49 Super Lotto entry before purchasing the ticket. Any Super Lotto entry that has been printed by the system can no longer be canceled or voided.

February 10, 2021– PCSO reminds the public to not to patronize persons and entities claiming to be part of PCSO and luring them to purchase tickets online using their platform. To date, the agency has no online betting platform yet whether through an app, text or calls.
