How to Play Super Lotto
Before proceeding, please note that only 18 years old and above are permitted to play.
Here’s how you can play the 6/49 Lotto:
- Go to a PCSO-authorized lottery outlet and grab the Super Lotto 6/49 play card.
- Choose six (6) numbers between 1 to 49. These numbers will be your 6/49 Lotto combination.
- Mark LP (Lucky Pick) in case you want the computer to randomly generate the number combination for you.
- Raise your odds of hitting the jackpot through the 6/49 Lotto System Play.
- For multiple draws, mark the number of succeeding draws you want to play in the Draw panel.
- Hand over your bet card and payment to the cashier and get your printed ticket once printed.
- After the draw, see the 6/49 Lotto Result to see if you won the prize.
Each 6/49 Superlotto number combination costs PhP 20. If you played any of the System Bets, the total bet amount would range from PhP 140 to PhP 18,480, depending on the overall number of combinations generated. The ticket price includes a 20% Documentary Stamp Tax (DST).
Make sure to sign the back portion of the the 6/49 Super Lotto ticket after placing your bet and to store the ticket in a safe and dry place.
Your 6/49 Super Lotto ticket needs to be validated by the machine before you can claim your prize. Hence, do not tamper with, wet, fold or iron your ticket.
To win a prize, you need to match at least three winning numbers. The more numbers you match, the greater your prize. For matching six numbers you win the JACKPOT amount.
New Health and Safety Reminders when Playing Lotto 6/49
Amidst this pandemic, PCSO imposed the following protocol in all lotto outlets nationwide.
- Always wear your face mask. Players without face mask will not be allowed to purchase 6/49 Lotto tickets.
- Follow social distancing at all times while in the outlet.
- Use your own ball pen.
- Place the bet slips and cash in the tray provided by the outlet to minimize physical contact.
- Use the disinfectant, hand sanitizer or alcohols provided before leaving the lotto outlet.
- Use the trash cans provided to put away used bet slips and/or old lotto tickets.
6/49 Super Lotto System Plays – Increase the Odds of Winning the Jackpot
6/49 Lotto System Bets allow players to pick more than the typical six (6) numbers per draw, thereby increasing their chances of winning the jackpot.
These are the choices available in case you want to play system bets- System 7, System 8, System 9, System 10, System 11, System 12 and System 5-Roll (System 5R).
A total of seven (7) combinations are created in System 7 because a player who picks this option would need to pick seven (7) numbers. In System 8, on the other hand, 28 combinations are generated because the player will need to select a total of eight (8) numbers out of the numbers 1 to 49.
In essence, more and more number combinations are produced as the marked numbers increase. This same rule applies to the rest of the remaining system bets.
In System 5-Roll, you only mark five (5) numbers and if your 5 numbers match the winning combination, you automatically win the jackpot. This is because in System 5-Roll, the 5 numbers you have selected are automatically paired with each of the remaining 44 digits in the bet card, creating a total of 44 combinations.
Note that your total ticket cost will be much higher in system bets due to the higher number of combinations you will bet on. The overall ticket price shall be PhP 20 multiplied by the number of combinations produced.

How to win a prize in Lotto 6/49?
You win a prize by matching at least three (3) numbers of the drawn Super Lotto 6/49 number combination. The more matching numbers, the bigger the prizes you will win.
If you match three (3) out of six (6), you take home PhP 50. Four (4) out of six (6) wins you a fixed prize equal to PhP 1,200 while five (5) out of six (6) gives you a prize equal to PhP 50,000.
Getting all the numbers wins you the jackpot prize worth at least PhP 15.8 Million.
You can increase your odds of winning the jackpot by picking up to 12 numbers using a system bet. This type of bet produces a higher number of combinations which ranges from 7 to 924 combinations.
The system plays you can choose from are the System 5-Roll and System 7 up to System 12.
The cost of tickets in system plays depend on the total number of combinations produced.

Who are permitted to play 6/49 Lotto?
PCSO only allows persons 18 years old and above to play the Super Lotto 6/49. Aside from the age requirement, some restrictions such as the No Mask-No Betting policy are also in place because of the current COVID-19 pandemic.
What is SYS 11 in Lotto 6/49?
System 11 allows you to select a eleven (11) number combination instead of the usual combination composed of six (6) numbers. This type of Superlotto system bet generates a total of 462 combinations and costs PhP 9,240 (Php 20 x 462 combinations).
To play System 11, simply choose your preferred 11-number combination and then mark the number 11 in the SYS section of the 6/49 Lotto bet card.
Can I get a refund for the Lotto 6/49 ticket that I bought?
You cannot cancel, void or refund your Superlotto 6/49 ticket after it is printed by the system. Bettors have the sole duty of checking the accuracy of the data printed on the Super Lotto ticket including the number combination, bet type and amount of bet.
Thus, you need to verify all the numbers and options you chose before you give the play slip to the cashier.
Are Lotto 6/49 Prizes Tax-free?
Super Lotto prizes above PhP 10,000 are subject to the 20% tax as mandated by the TRAIN Act.

PCSO Official Announcements & Press Releases
February 10, 2021– PCSO alerts the betting public against purchasing lotto tickets from alleged PCSO employees through a supposed ‘online’ betting platform. PCSO states it has no such platform yet in place that will support such transactions.
January 6, 2021– PCSO 4D and 6D Lotto draws have resumed.
July 20, 2020– PCSO announces the resumption of its lotto draws starting August 4, 2020.
July 18, 2020– PCSO reverts to the original ticket prices of its all major lotto games. Ticket prices were previously increased to PhP 24 following the implementation of the TRAIN Law.
