Before proceeding further, keep in mind that PCSO only allows persons 18 years old and above to play.
To play the Super Lotto 6/49 game, follow these detailed steps:
- Go to any PCSO-authorized lottery outlet and look for the Super Lotto 6/49 playing card.
- Select six (6) digits that will comprise your 6/49 Lotto combination. You can select from numbers 1 to 49.
- Choose the Lucky Pick (LP) option in case you have no combination in mind. This option allows the system to randomly pick the numbers for you.
- Optionally pick one of the options in the 6/49 Lotto System Play. With this option, you can select more than the usual six number combination.
- Mark the number of succeeding draws you want to join in the Draw section.
- Hand over your play card and payment to the cashier and get your generated ticket once printed.
- View the 6/49 Lotto Result after the 9 PM scheduled draw to verify if you matched the winning number combination.
Lotto 6/49 ticket costs PhP 20 per number combination. This amount already includes the 20% Documentary Stamp Tax (DST).
Make sure to sign the back portion of the the 6/49 Lotto ticket after placing your bet and to keep the ticket in a secure and dry place.
Do not iron, fold, wet or tamper with your 6/49 Superlotto ticket. Tickets are heat-sensitive and they have to be machine-validated before you can claim your prize.
How to Play: Mark the selected six numbers from 1 to 49 on a playslip using blue or black ink or a pencil. Or you can play for a Lucky Pick (LP) if you want to have your selections picked randomly. You can play up to 6 advance draws by simply marking the preferred number of draws in the DRAW panel.

Amidst this pandemic, PCSO imposed the following regulations in all lotto outlets in the country.
- Make sure to wear face mask at all times. Bettors without face mask will not be permitted to place 6/49 Lotto bets.
- Always observe one (1) meter physical distance from one another.
- Use your own pen.
- Put the play slips and money in the tray provided by the lotto outlet to lessen physical contact.
- Use disinfectants or alcohols before you leave the outlet.
- Use the trash cans provided to put away used bet slips and/or old tickets.
6/49 Super Lotto System Bets – How to Improve your Odds of Winning the Jackpot
You can improve your chances of winning the jackpot through 6/49 Lotto System Bets. This advanced option allows you to pick more than the usual six (6) numbers and produces several combinations of your chosen numbers.
These are the choices available in case you want to play system bets- System 7, System 8, System 9, System 10, System 11, System 12 and System 5-Roll (System 5R).
With System 7, a player chooses seven (7) numbers which generates a total of seven (7) combinations. In System 8, the player picks eight (8) numbers, creating a total of 28 combinations.
To sum it up, more and more number combinations are generated as the picked numbers increase. This same rule applies to the rest of the remaining system bets.
In System 5R, you only need to choose five (5) numbers instead of the typical six-number combination. The remaining unselected numbers in the bet slip (44 in all) will be matched with the 5 numbers you picked, thus creating 44 six-number combinations in total.
Please note that your total ticket cost will be much higher in system plays because of the higher number of combinations you will place your bet on. The overall price of the ticket shall be PhP 20 multiplied by the number of combinations produced.

How to win a prize in Lotto 6/49?
You win a prize by matching at least three (3) numbers of the winning 6/49 Lotto combination. The more matching numbers, the higher the prizes you will win.
Matching three (3) of the winning number combination wins you PhP 50, four (4) matching numbers gives you a prize in the amount of PhP 1,200 while five (5) numbers gives you a fixed prize equal to PhP 50,000.
If you got all the six (6) winning numbers correctly, you get the jackpot prize of no less than PhP 15.84 Million.
You can improve your chances of winning by opting for a system play. With this option, you can pick up to 12 numbers per column in the bet card, thereby producing up to 924 combinations.
There are seven system plays in all. These are the System 5-Roll and System 7 up to System 12.
The cost of tickets in system plays depend on the overall number of combinations generated.

How can I choose more than 6 numbers in the 6/49 Lotto bet slip?
You can select more than 6 numbers by playing any of the system plays for Super Lotto. You can choose from System 7 (7 numbers), System 8 (8 numbers), System 9 (8 numbers), System 10 (10 numbers), System 11 (11 numbers) and System 12 (12 numbers).
You can also pick only 5 numbers using the System 5R. Take note that the total number of combinations is considered when computing the total ticket price.
For example, a System 7 play costs PhP 140 because it produces 7 combinations in all.
What if I cannot think of any Super Lotto 6/49 number to play?
The Lucky Pick or LP option commands the computer to automatically select the Superlotto 6/49 number for you if you cannot think of any number to bet on.
To use this option, just mark the LP in the playing card.
Will there be any lotto draw during Holy Week?
PCSO regularly suspends its lotto draws during major holidays such as December 25 (Christmas), January 1 (New Year), Maundy Thursday, Good Friday, Black Saturday, and Easter Sunday. In other special holidays such as December 24 (Christmas Eve) and December 31 (New Year’s Eve), PCSO modifies its draw schedule so that all draws are completed early in the afternoon.
How many 6/49 Lotto draws can I play in advance?
You can play up to 5 draws in advance or a total of 6 draws including the present draw. To play in advance, just select your intended number of advanced plays in the DRAW section of the play slip. Your Superlotto entry will then be played multiple times based on the number of draws you picked.
For example, if you selected 6 Draws, your chosen Super Lotto entry will be valid for the six (6) consecutive 6/49 Lotto draws including the current draw.
What is DST?
DST or Documentary Stamp Tax is a 20% tax levied on PCSO lotto ticket prices by the government by virtue of the Tax Reform for Acceleration and Inclusion Act (TRAIN Act).
PCSO began adding 20% DST on the prices of its tickets when the law came into force in 2018. Accordingly, 2D (EZ2), 3D (Swertres), 4D and 6D Lotto ticket prices went up from PhP 10 to PhP 12 while the 6/42, 6/45, 6/49, 6/55 and 6/49 Lotto tickets went up from PhP 20 to PhP 24.
On July 18, 2020, PCSO reverted the price of its major lotto games to Php 20.
How do I claim my Lotto 6/49 Prize?

To claim 6/49 Superlotto winnings below PhP 5,000, proceed to the authorized lotto outlet or nearest PCSO branch and present your winning ticket.
Winnings above PhP 5,000 but not exceeding PhP 20,000 can be claimed at the nearest PCSO branch office.
Lotto winnings above PhP 20,000 can only be claimed at the PCSO head office located at 605 Conservatory Bldg., Shaw Blvd. corner Priceton St., Mandaluyong City.

PCSO Official Announcements & Press Statements
February 10, 2021– PCSO warns the betting public against buying lotto tickets from alleged PCSO employees through a supposed ‘online’ betting system. The agency said it has no such platform yet in place that will support such transactions.
January 6, 2021– PCSO resumes its 4D and 6D Lotto draws.
July 20, 2020– PCSO annouced the resumption of its lotto operations on August 4, 2020 after months-long suspension due to COVID-19 pandemic.
July 18, 2020– All major lotto ticket prices are back to PhP 20. Prices were previously raised to PhP 24 as required by the TRAIN Law.
