The prize that each winner receives depend on the total number of winners as well as gross sales. PCSO uses a prize structure for Superlotto 6/49 based on this pari mutuel wagering system.
Here are the different prizes for each tier of the Super Lotto 6/49 payout table:
- In case your number matches six (6) out of the six (6) numbers drawn in any order, you hit the latest jackpot prize for the Superlotto game. Starting jackpot is PhP 15,840,000 but this amount grows larger every time no one wins the jackpot.
- In case you matched five (5) of the six (6) winning numbers, you receive a fixed prize in the amount of PhP 50,000.

How to Play Super Lotto
Before proceeding further, remember that PCSO only allows persons 18 years old and above to play.
Here’s how you can play the 6/49 Super Lotto:
- Go to an authorized PCSO lotto agent and grab the Super Lotto 6/49 bet card.
- Mark six (6) digits that will comprise your 6/49 Lotto combination. You can pick from numbers 1 to 49.
- If you cannot think of any number combination, mark the Lucky Pick (LP) to have the system automatically pick the numbers for you.
- Optionally mark one of the options in the 6/49 Lotto System Play. With this option, you can choose more than the regular six number combination.
- For Advance Plays, mark the number of consecutive draws in the Draw section.
- Pay the ticket price and get your generated ticket once done.
- Check the 6/49 Lotto Result after the live draw to know if you got the winning number combination.
Each 6/49 Super Lotto number combination costs PhP 20. If you played any of the System Bets, the total bet amount would range from PhP 140 to PhP 18,480, depending on the total number of combinations generated. The ticket price includes a 20% Documentary Stamp Tax (DST).
Make sure to sign the back of the the 6/49 Superlotto ticket after placing your bet and to store the ticket in a secure and dry place.
Your Super Lotto 6/49 ticket has to be validated by the machine before you can claim your prize. Hence, do not fold, wet, iron or tamper with your ticket.
How to Play: Mark the selected six numbers from 1 to 49 on a playslip using blue or black ink or a pencil. Or you can play for a Lucky Pick (LP) if you want to have your selections picked randomly. You can play up to 6 advance draws by simply marking the preferred number of draws in the DRAW panel.

Amidst this pandemic, PCSO imposed the following protocol in all lotto outlets in the country.
- Always wear your face mask. Bettors without face mask will not be allowed to purchase 6/49 Lotto tickets.
- Follow physical distancing when buying 6/49 Lotto tickets.
- Use your own ball pen to minimize the risk of catching the virus.
- Place the play slips and money in the tray provided by the lotto outlet to eliminate physical contact.
- Apply alcohols or disinfectants before you leave the lotto outlet.
- Use the garbage bins provided to put away used bet slips and/or old lotto tickets.
6/49 Superlotto System Bets – How to Improve the Odds of Winning
6/49 Lotto System Bets allow players to pick more than the default six (6) numbers per draw, thereby increasing their chances of winning the jackpot.
These are the choices available if you want to play system bets- System 7, System 8, System 9, System 10, System 11, System 12 and System 5-Roll (System 5R).
A total of seven (7) combinations are created in System 7 because a player who chooses this option would have to mark seven (7) numbers. In System 8, on the other hand, 28 combinations are generated because the bettor will have to mark a total of eight (8) numbers out of the numbers 1 to 49.
In essence, more and more number combinations are produced as the selected numbers increase. This same rule applies to the rest of the remaining system bets.
With regard to System 5R, you only pick five (5) numbers and if your 5 numbers match the winning combination, you automatically win the jackpot. This is because in System 5R, the 5 numbers you have selected are automatically paired with each of the remaining 44 digits in the playing card, producing a total of 44 six-number combinations.
Please note that your total bet cost will be much higher in system plays because of the higher number of combinations you will bet on. The overall ticket price shall be PhP 20 multiplied by the number of combinations produced.

How can I win prizes in Super Lotto 6/49?
You win a prize by matching at least three (3) numbers of the winning Super Lotto number combination. The more matching numbers, the higher the prizes you will receive.
If you got three (3) out of the six (6) winning numbers, you win PhP 50, four (4) out of six (6) gives you a prize equal to PhP 1,200 while five (5) out of six (6) wins you a fixed amount equal to PhP 50,000.
Matching all the numbers wins you the jackpot prize worth at least PhP 15.8 Million.
Increase your chances of winning using a system play. This option allows you to pick up to 12 numbers instead of just 6, thereby creating a higher number of combinations.
There are seven system plays in all. These are the System 5R and System 7 up to System 12.
The price of tickets in system plays depend on the total number of combinations created.

Will there be any lotto draw during Holy Week?
PCSO generally cancels its lotto draws during major holidays such as December 25 (Christmas), January 1 (New Year), Maundy Thursday, Good Friday, Black Saturday, and Easter Sunday. In other special holidays such as December 24 (Christmas Eve) and December 31 (New Year’s Eve), PCSO adjusts its draw schedule in such a manner that all draws are completed early in the afternoon.

Can I cancel or refund the Super Lotto 6/49 ticket I already paid?
You cannot cancel, void or refund your 6/49 Lotto ticket after it is printed by the terminal. Bettors have the sole duty of checking the accuracy of the data printed on the Super Lotto ticket including the number combination, bet type and amount of bet.
Therefore, you need to thoroughly check all the numbers and options you chose before you submit the playing card to the cashier.
What is DST?
DST or Documentary Stamp Tax is a 20% tax levied on PCSO lotto ticket prices by the government by virtue of the Tax Reform for Acceleration and Inclusion Law (TRAIN Law).
PCSO commenced adding 20% DST on the prices of its tickets when the law came into effect in 2018. Accordingly, 2D (EZ2), 3D (Swertres), 4D and 6D Lotto ticket prices rose from PhP 10 to PhP 12 while the 6/42, 6/45, 6/49, 6/55 and 6/49 Lotto tickets went up from PhP 20 to PhP 24.
On July 18, 2020, PCSO returned the price of its major lotto games to Php 20.
I am below 18 years old, am I allowed to play Super Lotto 6/49?
PCSO only allows persons aged 18 and above to play the Superlotto. Aside from the age requirement, some restrictions such as the No Mask-No Betting policy are also in place due to the current COVID-19 epidemic.
How do I claim my Lotto 6/49 Prize?

To claim 6/49 Lotto prizes below PhP 5,000, proceed to the authorized lotto outlet or nearest PCSO branch and present your winning ticket.
Lotto winnings above PhP 5,000 but not exceeding PhP 20,000 can be claimed at the nearest PCSO branch office.
Winnings above PhP 20,000 can only be claimed at the PCSO head office located at 605 Conservatory Bldg., Shaw Blvd. corner Priceton St., Mandaluyong City.

February 10, 2021– PCSO warns the public against buying tickets from alleged PCSO employees through a supposed ‘online’ betting platform. The agency states it has no such system yet in place that will support such transactions.
January 6, 2021– PCSO announces the resumption of 6D and 4D Lotto draws.
July 20, 2020– PCSO annouced the resumption of its lotto operations starting August 4, 2020 after months-long suspension due to COVID-19 pandemic.
July 18, 2020– PCSO reverts to the original ticket prices of its all major lotto games. Ticket prices were previously raised to PhP 24 following the implementation of the TRAIN Law.
