How to Play 6/49 Lotto
Before proceeding further, note that you need to be at least 18 years old to play.
These are the detailed steps when playing Lotto 6/49:
- Go to a lottery outlet authorized by PCSO near you and get the Super Lotto 6/49 betting card.
- Pick a combination of six (6) numbers from one (1) to Forty-Nine (49) in each column of the bet card.
- If you cannot think of any number combination, choose Lucky Pick (LP) to let the computer select the number combination for you.
- Optionally select one of the options in the 6/49 Lotto System Play. With this option, you can pick more than the usual six number combination.
- For Advance Plays, select the number of succeeding draws in the Draw panel.
- Hand over your play card and corresponding payment to the teller and get your ticket after it is generated.
- See the 6/49 Lotto Result after the 9 PM live draw to know if you matched the winning number combination.
Each Super Lotto 6/49 number combination costs PhP 20. If you played any of the System Bets, the total play amount would vary from PhP 140 to PhP 18,480, depending on the overall number of combinations generated. The ticket price includes a 20% Documentary Stamp Tax (DST).
Once done placing your bet, affix your signature at the back of your 6/49 Super Lotto ticket. Store it in a secure and dry place.
Your Super Lotto 6/49 ticket has to be validated by the machine before you can claim your prize. Hence, do not tamper with, wet, fold or iron your ticket.

Super Lotto 6/49 System Plays – Ways to Increase your Odds of Winning
You can increase your chances of winning the jackpot through 6/49 Lotto System Bets. This advanced option allows you to pick more than the usual six (6) numbers and generates numerous combinations of your chosen numbers.
These are the choices available if you want to play system bets- System 7, System 8, System 9, System 10, System 11, System 12 and System 5-Roll (System 5R).
A total of seven (7) combinations are generated in System 7 because a bettor who marks this option would need to choose seven (7) numbers. In System 8, on the other hand, 28 combinations are produced because the bettor will have to select a total of eight (8) numbers out of the numbers 1 to 49.
In short, more and more number combinations are created as the picked numbers increase. This same rule applies to the rest of the remaining system bets.
With regard to System 5-Roll, you only pick five (5) numbers and if your 5 numbers match the winning combination, you automatically win the jackpot. This is because in System 5-Roll, the 5 numbers you have picked are automatically matched with each of the remaining 44 digits in the bet card, generating a total of 44 six-number combinations.
Note that your total bet cost will be much higher in system bets due to the higher number of combinations you will place your bet on. The overall price of the ticket shall be PhP 20 times the number of combinations produced.

What is SYS 11 in Lotto 6/49?
System 11 allows you to select a eleven (11) number combination instead of the regular combination comprised of six (6) numbers. This type of 6/49 Super Lotto system bet produces a total of 462 combinations and costs PhP 9,240 (Php 20 x 462 combinations).
To play System 11, simply choose your preferred 11-number combination and then mark the number 11 in the SYS section of the 6/49 Lotto playing card.
