PCSO employs a payout structure for 6/49 Lotto based on ‘pari mutuel’ wagering system. Parimutuel works by pooling all lotto bets in a given draw, then split the pool by the total number of winners.
The following is the 6/49 Super Lotto payout system:
- If you matched the six (6) drawn numbers in any order, you take home the current jackpot for Superlotto. Jackpot starts at PhP 15,840,000.
- If you got five (5) numbers of the winning number combination, you take home a prize in the amount of PhP 50,000.
- If your number matches four (4) out of the six (6) winning numbers, you receive a fixed amount of PhP 1,200.
- If you got three (3) numbers of the winning number combination, you take home a prize of PhP 50.

How to Play Lotto 6/49
Before continuing, note that only 18 years old and above are permitted to play.
Follow these detailed instructions to learn how to play this lotto game:
- Go to an authorized PCSO lottery outlet and get the Super Lotto 6/49 bet card.
- Select six (6) digits that will comprise your 6/49 Lotto combination. You can choose from numbers 1 to 49.
- If you can’t think of any number combination, mark Lucky Pick (LP) to have the computer generate the numbers for you.
- You can also mark up to twelve (12) numbers through the 6/49 Lotto System Play to increase your odds of hitting the jackpot.
- Choose the number of consecutive draws you want to join in the Draw section.
- Hand over your betting card and payment to the cashier and get your printed ticket once printed.
- Check the 6/49 Lotto Result after the live draw to see if you got the winning combination.
Each 6/49 Superlotto number combination costs PhP 20. If you played any of the System Bets, the total play amount would range from PhP 140 to PhP 18,480, depending on the total number of combinations generated. The ticket price includes a 20% Documentary Stamp Tax (DST).
After placing your bet, sign the back portion of your Super Lotto ticket and store it in secure and dry place.
Your 6/49 Lotto ticket must be machine-validated before you can claim your prize. Hence, do not iron, fold, wet or tamper with your ticket.
To win a prize, you need to match at least three winning numbers. The more numbers you match, the greater your prize. For matching six numbers you win the JACKPOT amount.
Additional Guidelines to be Observed by Bettors when Playing 6/49 Lotto
Amidst this pandemic, PCSO imposed the following protocol in all lotto outlets in the country.
- Always wear your face mask. Bettors with no face mask will not be permitted to play 6/49 Lotto.
- Follow physical distancing at all times while in the lotto outlet.
- Use your own ball pen.
- Use the money tray to eliminate contact.
- Sanitize your hands before and after betting. Alcohol or hand sanitizers are available in the betting area.
- Avoid littering and throw away used bet slip or old tickets in the garbage cans.
6/49 Superlotto System Bets – Learn How to Increase your Odds of Winning
You can improve your chances of winning the jackpot through 6/49 Lotto System Bets. This advanced option allows you to pick more than the usual six (6) numbers and generates several combinations of your chosen numbers.
The system bets available in 6/49 Lotto are System 7, System 8, System 9, System 10, System 11, System 12 and System 5-Roll (System 5R).
A total of seven (7) combinations are produced in System 7 because a player who marks this option would have to pick seven (7) numbers. In System 8, on the other hand, 28 combinations are created because the bettor will have to pick a total of eight (8) numbers out of the numbers 1 to 49.
The total number of combinations increases as the selected numbers increase. The same rule applies for System 9, System 10, System 11 and System 12.
In System 5-Roll, the bettor will only have to mark five (5) numbers. The remaining (unmarked) 44 numbers will be paired with the 5 selected numbers. This produces a total of 44 combinations.
Please note that the higher the number of combinations, the higher the total bet cost will be. The total ticket price is PhP 20 multiplied by the number of combinations created.

How can I win prizes in Super Lotto 6/49?
You win a prize by matching at least three (3) numbers of the winning 6/49 Lotto combination. The more matching numbers, the bigger the prizes you will receive.
Matching three (3) of the winning combination gives you PhP 50, four (4) matching numbers gives you a prize in the amount of PhP 1,200 while five (5) numbers gives you a fixed amount equal to PhP 50,000.
Getting all the numbers gives you the jackpot prize worth no less than PhP 15.84 Million.
You can increase your odds of winning by playing a system play. With this option, you can mark up to 12 numbers per column in the bet card, thereby generating up to 924 combinations.
You can choose from seven available system plays. These are the System 5R and System 7 up to System 12.
Ticket cost is PhP 20 multiplied by the overall number of produced combinations.

How do I Play Super Lotto 6/49 System 5-Roll?
System 5R (5-Roll) is the Superlotto 6/49 system bet that allows you select only five (5) numbers instead of the usual 6 number combination.
To complete the combination, the system automatically combines each of the remaining 44 “unmarked” numbers in the play card to the five numbers you already marked.
This creates a total of 44 combinations and guarantees that you will get at least one (1) winning number in your combinations.
System 5R costs Php 880 (Php 20 x 44).
To play System 5R, simply choose your preferred 5-number combination and then mark 5R in the SYS panel of the 6/49 Lotto bet card.

February 10, 2021– PCSO alerts the betting public against purchasing tickets from alleged PCSO employees through a supposed ‘online’ betting system. The agency states it has no such system yet in place that will support such transactions.
