The prize that each winner receives depend on the total number of winners as well as gross sales. PCSO uses a prize system for Superlotto 6/49 based on this pari mutuel betting computation.
This is the prize levels of the Super Lotto 6/49:
- Jackpot prize awaits those who will match six (6) out of the six (6) number drawn in any order. Jackpot prize begins at PhP 15,840,000.
- A second prize of PhP 50,000 awaits those who will match five (5) out of the six (6) drawn winning numbers.
- A third prize of PhP 1,200 awaits those who will get four (4) out of the six (6) drawn winning numbers.
- If your combination matches three (3) out of the six (6) drawn numbers, you take home a prize of PhP 50.
A 20% tax will be automatically withheld from your prizes if its total amount exceeds PhP 10,000.

Before proceeding further, note that only 18 years old and above are permitted to play.
These are the complete steps when playing Lotto 6/49:
- Go to a PCSO-authorized lotto agent near you and look for the Super Lotto 6/49 bet slip.
- Pick a combination of six (6) numbers from one (1) to Forty-Nine (49) in each column of the play card.
- Choose the Lucky Pick (LP) option if you have no combination in mind. This option instructs the system to randomly choose the number combination for you.
- You can also pick up to twelve (12) numbers through the 6/49 Lotto System Play to raise your odds of hitting the jackpot.
- If you want to play multiple draws, mark the number of succeeding draws in the Draw panel.
- Pay the ticket price and get your printed ticket once done.
- View the 6/49 Lotto Result after the scheduled draw to see if you won a prize.
Each Super Lotto 6/49 number combination costs PhP 20, inclusive of 20% Documentary Stamp Tax (DST).
Make sure to sign the back of the your 6/49 Super Lotto ticket after placing your bet and to keep the ticket in a safe and dry place.

PCSO has implemented the regulations below to be observed by 6/49 Lotto players nationwide.
- Make sure to wear face mask at all times. Players without face mask will not be allowed to place 6/49 Lotto bets.
- Always observe one (1) meter physical distance from each other.
- Use your own ball pen when purchasing lotto tickets.
- Use the money tray to lessen contact.
- Sanitize your hands before and after betting. Alcohol or hand sanitizers are available in the betting area.
- Avoid littering and throw away used betting card or non-winning lotto tickets in the trash bins.
6/49 Super Lotto System Plays – Improve the Chances of Winning the Jackpot
6/49 Lotto System Bets allow players to pick more than the typical six (6) numbers per draw, thereby increasing their chances of winning the jackpot.
These are the choices available in case you want to play system bets- System 7, System 8, System 9, System 10, System 11, System 12 and System 5-Roll (System 5R).
With System 7, a player selects seven (7) numbers which generates a total of seven (7) combinations. In System 8, the bettor selects eight (8) numbers, creating a total of 28 combinations.
To sum it up, more and more number combinations are generated as the selected numbers increase. This same rule applies to the rest of the remaining system plays.
With System 5R, you only need to choose five (5) numbers instead of the regular six-number combination. The remaining unmarked numbers in the bet card (44 in all) will be paired with the 5 numbers you selected, thus creating 44 six-number combinations in total.
Please note that your overall ticket cost will be much higher in system plays due to the higher number of combinations you will bet on. The total cost of the ticket shall be PhP 20 times the number of combinations created.

What are the ways to win in 6/49 Lotto?
In 6/49 Super Lotto, you win a prize by matching at least three (3) out of the six (6) numbers drawn. More matching number means bigger prizes for you.
If you match three (3) out of six (6), you win PhP 50. Four (4) out of six (6) gives you a fixed amount equal to PhP 1,200 while five (5) out of six (6) gives you a prize worth PhP 50,000.
Matching all the numbers wins you the jackpot prize worth at least PhP 15.8 Million.
You can boost your odds of winning by playing a system play. With this option, you can mark up to 12 numbers per column in the play slip, thus producing up to 924 number combinations.
The system plays you can choose from are the System 5-Roll and System 7 up to System 12.
Ticket cost is PhP 20 times the total number of generated combinations.

PCSO only allows persons aged 18 and above to play the 6/49 Super Lotto. Aside from the age requirement, some restrictions such as the No Mask-No Betting system are also in place owing to the current COVID-19 pandemic.
What does LP in 6/49 Lotto mean?
The Lucky Pick or LP option lets the computer to automatically pick the 6/49 Super Lotto number for you if you cannot think of any number to bet on.
To use this option, just select the LP in the bet card.

February 10, 2021– PCSO alerts the public against purchasing tickets from alleged PCSO employees through a supposed ‘online’ betting system. PCSO confirms it has no such system yet in place that will cater to such transactions.
January 6, 2021– PCSO 4D and 6D Lotto draws have resumed.
July 20, 2020– PCSO annouced the resumption of its lotto operations starting August 4, 2020 after months-long suspension due to COVID-19 pandemic.
