Prizes in Grand Lotto are split equally to the winners of each prize rank. This is the reason why the minor prizes are most of the time lower than the advertized amount.

Here is the 6/55 Lotto prize structure:

  • In case your combination matches six (6) out of the six (6) winning numbers in any order, you win the jackpot prize for the Grand Lotto 6/55 game. Starting jackpot is PhP 29,700,000 but this amount gets bigger every time no one gets the jackpot.

  1. Go to an authorized PCSO lottery outlet and grab the Grand Lotto 6/55 bet card.
  2. Mark a combination of six (6) numbers from one (1) to Fifty-Five (55) in each column of the bet card.
  3. If you cannot think of any number combination, mark Lucky Pick (LP) to have the system generate the number combination for you.
  4. You can also improve your odds of winning through the 6/55 Lotto System Play. With this option, you can choose more than the usual six (6) numbers thus increasing your total number combinations.
  5. Mark the number of succeeding draws you want to play in the Draw panel.
  6. Pay the total ticket price to the cashier and get your printed ticket.
  7. See the 6/55 Lotto Result after the 9 PM scheduled draw to know if you matched the winning combination.

Each Grand Lotto 6/55 combination costs PhP 20. If you played any of the System Bets, the total play amount would vary from PhP 140 to PhP 18,480, depending on the total number of combinations generated. The ticket price includes a 20% Documentary Stamp Tax (DST).

Once done placing your bet, affix your signature at the back of your 6/55 Grand Lotto ticket. Store it in a safe and dry place.

  1. Make sure to wear face mask at all times. Players with no face mask will not be allowed to buy 6/55 Lotto tickets.
  2. Observe physical distancing when placing 6/55 Lotto bets.
  3. Use your own ball pen to decrease the risk of catching the virus.
  4. Put the bet slips and money in the tray provided by the lotto outlet to minimize physical contact.
  5. Use disinfectants or sanitizers before you leave the lotto outlet.
  6. Avoid littering and throw away used betting card or old lotto tickets in the garbage bins.

Grand Lotto 6/55 System Plays – Increase the Odds of Winning the Jackpot

You can increase your chances of winning the jackpot through 6/55 Lotto System Bets. This advanced option allows you to pick more than the usual six (6) numbers and generates numerous combinations of your chosen numbers.

In case you want to play system plays, these are the options you can choose from- System 5-Roll (System 5R), System 7, System 8, System 9, System 10, System 11 and System 12.

With System 7, a bettor picks seven (7) numbers which generates a total of seven (7) combinations. In System 8, the bettor picks eight (8) numbers, producing a total of 28 combinations.

The total number of combinations increases as the selected numbers increase. The same rule applies for System 9, System 10, System 11 and System 12.

How do I win a prize in 6/55 Grand Lotto?

You win a prize in Grand Lotto 6/55 by getting at least three (3) drawn numbers in any order. Higher prizes awaits those who will match four (4), five (5) or six (6) winning numbers.

Matching three (3) of the winning combination gives you PhP 60, four (4) matching numbers wins you a prize equal to PhP 1,500 while five (5) numbers wins you a fixed amount equal to PhP 100,000.

Matching all the numbers wins you the jackpot prize worth at least PhP 29.70 Million.

You can increase your odds of hitting the jackpot by marking up to 12 numbers using a system play. This type of bet generates a bigger number of combinations which ranges from 7 to 924 combinations.

The system plays you can choose from are the System 5-Roll and System 7 up to System 12.

Ticket cost is PhP 20 times the total number of created combinations.

What does DST stand for?

DST or Documentary Stamp Tax is a 20% tax levied on PCSO lotto ticket prices by the government by virtue of the Tax Reform for Acceleration and Inclusion Act (TRAIN Law).

PCSO started adding 20% DST on the prices of its tickets when the law took effect in 2018. Consequently, 2D (EZ2), 3D (Swertres), 4D and 6D Lotto ticket prices went up from PhP 10 to PhP 12 while the 6/42, 6/45, 6/49, 6/55 and 6/55 Lotto tickets increased from PhP 20 to PhP 24.

On July 18, 2020, PCSO reverted the price of its major lotto games to Php 20.

How can a specific combination in the 6/55 Grand Lotto play slip disregarded?

PCSO Updates and Official Announcements

February 10, 2021– PCSO warns the betting public against buying lotto tickets from alleged PCSO employees through a supposed ‘online’ betting system. The agency confirms it has no such platform yet in place that will support such transactions.

January 6, 2021– PCSO resumes its 6-Digit and 4-Digit Lotto draws.

July 20, 2020– PCSO announces the resumption of its lotto operation starting August 4, 2020.

July 18, 2020– All major games ticket prices are back to PhP 20. Prices were previously increased to PhP 24 as mandated under the TRAIN Act.
