PCSO uses a payout structure for Grandlotto 6/55 based on ‘pari mutuel’ betting system. Parimutuel works by pooling all lottery bets in a given draw, then split the pool by the total number of winners.

The following is the updated 6/55 Grandlotto prize system:

  • If you matched six (6) numbers of the winning combination in any order, you win the latest jackpot for 6/55 Grand Lotto. Its initial jackpot begins at PhP 29,700,000.
  • If your combination matches five (5) out of the six (6) drawn numbers, you win a fixed prize in the amount of PhP 100,000.
  • Matching five (4) out of the six (6) winning numbers wins you a fixed amount worth PhP 1,500.
  • In case your combination matches three (3) out of the six (6) numbers drawn, you win PhP 60.

A 20% tax will be automatically deducted from your winnings if its total amount exceeds PhP 10,000.

  6. Hand over your betting card and payment to the teller and get your generated ticket once printed.

One Lotto 6/55 combination costs PhP 20, inclusive of 20% Documentary Stamp Tax (DST).

6/55 Grand Lotto System Plays – Ways to Improve the Chances of Winning the Jackpot

You can improve your chances of winning the jackpot through 6/55 Lotto System Bets. This advanced option allows you to pick more than the usual six (6) numbers and creates several combinations of your chosen numbers.

These are the options available if you want to play system bets- System 7, System 8, System 9, System 10, System 11, System 12 and System 5-Roll (System 5R).

With System 7, a bettor selects seven (7) numbers which generates a total of seven (7) combinations. In System 8, the player selects eight (8) numbers, generating a total of 28 combinations.

The overall number of combinations increases as the picked numbers increase. The same rule applies for System 9, System 10, System 11 and System 12.

With System 5-Roll, you only need to select five (5) numbers instead of the regular six-number combination. The remaining unselected numbers in the bet card (50 in all) will be paired with the 5 numbers you selected, thus generating 50 combinations in all.

What are the ways to win in 6/55 Lotto?

You win a prize in Grand Lotto by getting at least three (3) winning numbers in any order. Bigger prizes awaits those who will match four (4), five (5) or six (6) winning numbers.

Matching three (3) of the winning combination gives you PhP 60, four (4) matching numbers gives you a prize equal to PhP 1,500 while five (5) numbers wins you a prize equal to PhP 100,000.

If you got all the six (6) numbers correctly, you receive the jackpot prize of at least PhP 29.7 Million.

You can increase your odds of winning the jackpot by choosing up to 12 numbers using a system play. This type of bet creates a larger number of combinations which ranges from 7 to 924 combinations.

You can select from seven available system plays. These are the System 5-Roll and System 7 up to System 12.

Ticket cost shall depend on the overall number of created combinations.

Can I mark more than 6 numbers in the Lotto 6/55 play slip?

You can select more than 6 numbers by playing any of the system plays for Grand Lotto 6/55. You can choose from System 7 (7 numbers), System 8 (8 numbers), System 9 (8 numbers), System 10 (10 numbers), System 11 (11 numbers) and System 12 (12 numbers).

You can also pick only 5 numbers using the System 5R. Take note that the total number of combinations is considered when computing the total ticket cost.

For instance, a System 7 play costs PhP 140 because it generates 7 combinations in all.

What is DST?

DST or Documentary Stamp Tax is a 20% tax levied on PCSO lotto ticket prices by the government by virtue of the Tax Reform for Acceleration and Inclusion Act (TRAIN Act).

PCSO started adding 20% DST on the prices of its tickets when the law took effect in 2018. Accordingly, 2D (EZ2), 3D (Swertres), 4D and 6D Lotto ticket prices went up from PhP 10 to PhP 12 while the 6/42, 6/45, 6/49, 6/55 and 6/55 Lotto tickets went up from PhP 20 to PhP 24.

On July 18, 2020, PCSO reverted the price of its major lotto games to Php 20.

How do I void an entry in the Lotto 6/55 play slip?

To cancel or disregard a specific Grand Lotto 6/55 number combination, mark the VOID directly below it before handing over the play slip to the cashier.

Please note that you can only void your 6/55 Grand Lotto entry before purchasing the ticket. Any Grand Lotto 6/55 number combination that has been printed by the computer can no longer be voided or canceled.

Can I play Grand Lotto 6/55 in Advance?

You can play up to 5 draws in advance or a total of 6 draws including the present draw. To play in advance, just choose your intended number of advanced plays in the DRAW section of the play card. Your 6/55 Grand Lotto entry will then be played multiple times according to the number of draws you marked.

For example, if you selected 6 Draws, your chosen Grandlotto 6/55 entry will be valid for the six (6) consecutive Grandlotto 6/55 draws including the present draw.

How do I Play Grand Lotto 6/55 System 10?

System 10 is the 6/55 Grand Lotto system play that lets bettors to pick a total of ten (10) numbers instead of the regular six (6) numbers. This play type creates 210 combinations in all and costs PhP 4,200 (Php 20 x 210 combinations).

PCSO Updates and Official Announcements

February 10, 2021– PCSO persuades everyone from purchasing tickets from persons claiming to be part of a supposed PCSO ‘online’ betting system. The agency states it does not have any such system yet.

January 6, 2021– PCSO resumes its 4D and 6D Lotto draws.

July 20, 2020– PCSO annouced the resumption of its lotto operations on August 4, 2020 after months-long suspension due to COVID-19 pandemic.

July 18, 2020– PCSO reverts to the original ticket prices of its all major games. Ticket prices were previously raised to PhP 24 following the implementation of the TRAIN Law.
