New Health and Safety Reminders when Playing 6/55 Lotto

Amidst this pandemic, PCSO imposed the following protocol in all lotto outlets in the country.

  1. Make sure to wear face mask at all times. Bettors without face mask will not be permitted to play 6/55 Lotto.
  2. Always observe one (1) meter physical distance from each other.
  3. Use your own ball pen to minimize the risk of catching the virus.
  4. Use the tray provided when handing out your betting card and payment.
  5. Sanitize your hands before and after betting. Hand sanitizers or alcohols are available in the betting area.
  6. Avoid littering and throw away any used play slip or non-winning lotto tickets in the garbage cans.

Grand Lotto System Plays – Increase your Odds of Winning

You can increase your chances of winning the jackpot through 6/55 Lotto System Bets. This advanced option allows you to pick more than the usual six (6) numbers and produces numerous combinations of your chosen numbers.

The available system bets in 6/55 Lotto are System 5-Roll (System 5R), System 7, System 8, System 9, System 10, System 11 and System 12.

A total of seven (7) combinations are produced in System 7 because a player who chooses this option would need to choose seven (7) numbers. In System 8, on the other hand, 28 combinations are produced because the bettor will need to select a total of eight (8) numbers out of the numbers 1 to 55.

The overall number of combinations increases as the picked numbers increase. The same rule applies for System 9, System 10, System 11 and System 12.

With regard to System 5-Roll, you only mark five (5) numbers and if your 5 numbers match the winning combination, you automatically win the jackpot. This is because in System 5-Roll, the 5 numbers you have selected are automatically combined with each of the remaining 50 digits in the bet slip, creating a total of 50 combinations.

Please note that your total bet cost will be much higher in system plays because of the higher number of combinations you will place your bet on. The overall ticket cost shall be PhP 20 multiplied by the number of combinations generated.

The following table shows the number of combination as well as the corresponding ticket cost for every system play.
