Grand Lotto System Bets – How to Improve your Chances of Winning the Jackpot

You can improve your chances of winning the jackpot through 6/55 Lotto System Bets. This advanced option allows you to pick more than the usual six (6) numbers and generates numerous combinations of your chosen numbers.

The available system plays in 6/55 Lotto are System 5-Roll (System 5R), System 7, System 8, System 9, System 10, System 11 and System 12.

With System 7, a player selects seven (7) numbers which generates a total of seven (7) combinations. In System 8, the player chooses eight (8) numbers, producing a total of 28 combinations.

In essence, more and more number combinations are created as the marked numbers increase. This same rule applies to the rest of the remaining system bets.

In System 5-Roll, you only select five (5) numbers and if your 5 numbers match the winning combination, you automatically win the jackpot. This is because in System 5-Roll, the 5 numbers you have marked are automatically combined with each of the remaining 50 digits in the play slip, generating a total of 50 combinations.

Remember that the higher the number of combinations, the higher the total ticket cost will be. The overall price of the ticket is PhP 20 multiplied by the number of combinations generated.

Refer to the table below for more information on overall ticket cost for each Lotto 6/55 system play.

What is SYS 5-Roll in Lotto 6/55?

System 5R (5-Roll) is the Grand Lotto system bet that allows the bettor to select only five (5) numbers instead of the default 6 number combination.

To complete the combination, the system automatically combines each of the remaining 50 “unselected” numbers in the betting card to the five numbers you already picked.

This produces a total of 50 combinations and guarantees that you will get at least one (1) winning number in your combinations.

System 5R costs Php 1,000 (Php 20 x 50).

To play System 5-Roll, simply pick your preferred 5-number combination and then mark 5R in the SYS panel of the 6/55 Lotto playing card.

How many Advance Draws can I play in Lotto 6/55?

You can play up to 5 draws in advance or a total of 6 draws including the current draw. To play in advance, just select your intended number of advanced plays in the DRAW section of the play slip. Your Grandlotto 6/55 combination will then be played repeatedly based on the number of draws you picked.

For example, if you selected 6 Draws, your chosen 6/55 Lotto combination shall be valid for the six (6) consecutive Grandlotto 6/55 draws including the present draw.

How do I correct the numbers I entered in the Grand Lotto 6/55 bet slip?

To cancel or disregard a specific Grandlotto 6/55 entry, mark the VOID directly below it before handing over the play slip to the cashier.

Please note that you can only void your 6/55 Lotto number combination before purchasing the ticket. Any 6/55 Lotto number combination that has been processed by the terminal can no longer be voided or canceled.

How much do I win if I match all the Grand Lotto 6/55 winning numbers but NOT in exact order?

You win the jackpot if you match all the Grand Lotto winning numbers even if they are not in the same order as the offical 6/55 Lotto Results.

You also win minor prizes if you match 3, 4 or 5 winning numbers.

However, you do not win anything if you only matched two (2) or one (1) winning number.

What is DST?

DST or Documentary Stamp Tax is a 20% tax levied on PCSO lotto ticket prices by the government by virtue of the Tax Reform for Acceleration and Inclusion Act (TRAIN Law).

PCSO commenced adding 20% DST on the prices of its tickets when the law came into effect in 2018. Thus, 2D (EZ2), 3D (Swertres), 4D and 6D Lotto ticket prices went up from PhP 10 to PhP 12 while the 6/42, 6/45, 6/49, 6/55 and 6/55 Lotto tickets went up from PhP 20 to PhP 24.

On July 18, 2020, PCSO returned the price of its major lotto games to Php 20.
