How to Play Grandlotto 6/55

Before proceeding further, please note that PCSO only allows persons 18 years old and above to play.

Here’s how you can play the Grand Lotto 6/55:

  1. Go to any lottery outlet authorized by PCSO and get the Grand Lotto 6/55 bet slip.
  2. Pick a combination of six (6) numbers from one (1) to Fifty-Five (55) in each column of the bet card.
  3. Mark the Lucky Pick (LP) option in case you have no combination in mind. This option instructs the terminal to automatically generate the numbers for you.
  4. You can also raise your odds of winning through the 6/55 Lotto System Play. With this option, you can choose more than the usual six (6) numbers thus increasing your total number combinations.
  5. For multiple draws, mark the number of consecutive draws you want to play in the Draw panel.
  6. Pay the ticket price and get your generated ticket once done.
  7. After the draw, see the 6/55 Lotto Result to see if you won the prize.

Each Lotto 6/55 combination costs PhP 20. If you played any of the System Bets, the total bet amount would vary from PhP 140 to PhP 18,480, depending on the total number of combinations generated. The ticket price includes a 20% Documentary Stamp Tax (DST).

Once done placing your bet, affix your signature at the back of your Grand Lotto 6/55 ticket. Keep it in a safe and dry place.

Do not iron, fold, wet or tamper with your 6/55 Grand Lotto ticket. Tickets are heat-sensitive and they have to be validated by the machine before you can claim your prize.

You can play the same number combination for 6 consecutive draws by marking the chosen number of draws in the DRAW panel. You can also opt to play SYSTEM to have more chances of winning.

Important Rules to be Followed by Bettors when Playing Lotto 6/55

During this time of pandemic, PCSO requires 6/55 Lotto players to abide by the guidelines below when transacting in all lotto outlets nationwide.

  1. Make sure to wear face mask at all times. Players with no face mask will not be permitted to place 6/55 Lotto bets.
  2. Always observe one (1) meter physical distance from one another.
  3. Bring your own pen.
  4. Use the money tray to eliminate contact.
  5. Use the disinfectant, hand sanitizer or alcohols provided before you leave the lotto outlet.
  6. Throw away your used playing card and old tickets into the garbage bin.

Grandlotto System Plays – How to Improve the Chances of Winning

6/55 Lotto System Bets allow players to pick more than the usual six (6) numbers per draw, thereby increasing their chances of winning the jackpot.

These are the choices available if you want to play system bets- System 7, System 8, System 9, System 10, System 11, System 12 and System 5-Roll (System 5R).

A total of seven (7) combinations are created in System 7 because a bettor who marks this option would need to mark seven (7) numbers. In System 8, on the other hand, 28 combinations are produced because the player will have to choose a total of eight (8) numbers out of the numbers 1 to 55.

The total number of combinations increases as the chosen numbers increase. The same rule applies for System 9, System 10, System 11 and System 12.

With regard to System 5R, a player marks only five (5) numbers and—for the sixth number—pairs these off with each of the remaining fifty (50) numbers, generating a total of 50 combinations.

Remember that the higher the number of combinations, the higher the total ticket cost will be. The total ticket price is PhP 20 times the number of combinations created.

The following table shows the number of combination as well as the corresponding ticket cost per system bet.
