Follow these complete steps to learn how to play this PCSO lotto game:
- Go to any authorized PCSO lotto outlet and look for the Grand Lotto 6/55 playing card.
- Mark a combination of six (6) numbers from one (1) to Fifty-Five (55) in each column of the play slip.
- Mark the Lucky Pick (LP) option if you have no combination in mind. This option allows the system to automatically pick the numbers for you.
- You can also mark up to twelve (12) numbers using the 6/55 Lotto System Play to increase your odds of winning the jackpot.
- Mark the number of consecutive draws you want to play in the Draw panel.
- Hand over your playing card and corresponding payment to the teller and get your ticket once it is generated.
- After the draw, see the 6/55 Lotto Result to know if you won the prize.
6/55 Grandlotto ticket costs PhP 20 per number combination. This amount is inclusive of 20% Documentary Stamp Tax (DST).
After placing your bet, sign the back portion of your Grand Lotto ticket and store it in safe and dry place.
Do not iron, fold, soak in water or write anything on your Grandlotto ticket except the portion designated for your signature. Tickets have to be machine-validated when claiming prizes.
You can play the same number combination for 6 consecutive draws by marking the chosen number of draws in the DRAW panel. You can also opt to play SYSTEM to have more chances of winning.
Additional Protocols to be Observed by Bettors when Playing Lotto 6/55
Amidst this pandemic, PCSO imposed the following regulations in all lotto outlets in the country.
- Put on your face mask at all times. No Facemask-No Betting system shall be followed at all lotto outlets nationwide.
- Follow physical distancing when placing 6/55 Lotto bets.
- Use your own ball pen.
- Place the play slips and cash in the tray provided by the outlet to decrease physical contact.
- Use the hand sanitizer, alcohols or disinfectant provided before leaving the lotto outlet.
- Avoid littering and put away used betting card or old tickets in the trash bins.
Grand Lotto 6/55 System Plays – Ways to Improve your Chances of Winning
You can improve your chances of winning the jackpot through 6/55 Lotto System Bets. This advanced option allows you to pick more than the usual six (6) numbers and produces numerous combinations of your chosen numbers.
The system bets available in 6/55 Lotto are System 7, System 8, System 9, System 10, System 11, System 12 and System 5-Roll (System 5R).
A total of seven (7) combinations are created in System 7 because a bettor who selects this option would need to select seven (7) numbers. In System 8, on the other hand, 28 combinations are produced because the player will have to select a total of eight (8) numbers out of the numbers 1 to 55.
The total number of combinations increases as the chosen numbers increase. The same rule applies for System 9, System 10, System 11 and System 12.
With System 5-Roll, you only mark five (5) numbers and if your 5 numbers match the winning combination, you automatically win the jackpot. This is because in System 5-Roll, the 5 numbers you have selected are automatically paired with each of the remaining 50 digits in the play slip, generating a total of 50 six-number combinations.
Please note that your total bet cost will be much higher in system bets due to the higher number of combinations you will bet on. The total price of the ticket shall be PhP 20 multiplied by the number of combinations produced.
The following table indicates the number of combination as well as the corresponding ticket cost per system bet.
