The prize that each winner gets depend on the aggregate number of winners as well as gross sales. PCSO uses a prize system for Grandlotto based on this pari mutuel system.

How to Play Grand Lotto

Before proceeding, remember that you need to be at least 18 years old to play.

Here’s the detailed instructions for playing this popular parimutuel game:

1. Go to any PCSO-authorized lotto outlet and look for the Grand Lotto 6/55 bet card.
2. Pick six (6) numbers between 1 to 49. These digits will be your 6/55 Lotto combination.
3. If you can’t think of any number combination, mark Lucky Pick (LP) to have the system select the number combination for you.
4. You can also improve your odds of winning through the 6/55 Lotto System Play. With this option, you can choose more than the usual six (6) numbers thus increasing your total number combinations.
5. If you want to join multiple draws, mark the number of succeeding draws in the Draw section.
6. Pay the ticket price and get your printed ticket once done.
7. After the draw, view the 6/55 Lotto Result to know if you won the prize.

Each 6/55 Grandlotto number combination costs PhP 20. If you played any of the System Bets, the total play amount would vary from PhP 140 to PhP 18,480, depending on the total number of combinations generated. The ticket price includes a 20% Documentary Stamp Tax (DST).

After placing your bet, sign the back portion of your Grand Lotto 6/55 ticket and store it in secure and dry place.

Do not tamper with, wet, fold or iron your Grand Lotto ticket. Tickets are heat-sensitive and they have to be machine-validated before you can claim your prize.

You can play the same number combination for 6 consecutive draws by marking the chosen number of draws in the DRAW panel. You can also opt to play SYSTEM to have more chances of winning.

Grand Lotto 6/55 System Bets – How to Increase your Chances of Winning the Jackpot

6/55 Lotto System Bets allow players to pick more than the default six (6) numbers per draw, thereby increasing their chances of winning the jackpot.

In case you want to play system plays, these are the options you can select from- System 5-Roll (System 5R), System 7, System 8, System 9, System 10, System 11 and System 12.

In System 7, a player picks seven (7) numbers which generates a total of seven (7) combinations. With System 8, on the other hand, the bettor picks a total of eight (8) numbers generating a total of 28 combinations.

In essence, more and more number combinations are created as the picked numbers increase. This same rule applies to the rest of the remaining system plays.

In System 5R, you only need to select five (5) numbers instead of the regular six-number combination. The remaining unmarked numbers in the board (50 in all) will be matched with the 5 numbers you picked, thus generating 50 six-number combinations in all.

In Grand Lotto 6/55, you win a prize by getting at least three (3) out of the six (6) numbers drawn. More matching number means higher prizes for you.

If you match three (3) out of six (6), you take home PhP 60. Four (4) out of six (6) wins you a fixed amount equal to PhP 1,500 while five (5) out of six (6) gives you a prize in the amount of PhP 100,000.

If you got all the numbers, you get the jackpot prize which starts at PhP 29.70 Million.

Increase your chances of winning using a system play. This option allows you to mark up to 12 numbers instead of just 6, thereby generating a bigger number of combinations.

Can I play the same 6/55 Grand Lotto combination in advance?

You can play up to 5 draws in advance or a total of 6 draws including the present draw. To play in advance, just mark your preferred number of advanced plays in the DRAW section of the bet card. Your 6/55 Grandlotto entry will then be played multiple times according to the number of draws you selected.

For example, if you selected 6 Draws, your chosen 6/55 Grand Lotto entry will be valid for the six (6) consecutive 6/55 Lotto draws including the current draw.

I changed my mind, can I ask for a refund of my 6/55 Lotto payment?

How much does a Grandlotto System 5-Roll ticket cost?

System 5R (5-Roll) is the Grandlotto system bet which allows you select only five (5) numbers instead of the typical 6 number combination.

To complete the combination, the system automatically combines each of the remaining 50 “unselected” numbers in the playing card to the five numbers you already marked.

This produces a total of 50 combinations and guarantees that you will get at least one (1) winning number in your combinations.

System 5R costs Php 1,000 (Php 20 x 50).
