6/55 Grand Lotto System Bets – How to Improve the Chances of Winning the Jackpot

6/55 Lotto System Bets allow players to pick more than the usual six (6) numbers per draw, thereby increasing their chances of winning the jackpot.

The available system plays in 6/55 Lotto are System 5-Roll (System 5R), System 7, System 8, System 9, System 10, System 11 and System 12.

A total of seven (7) combinations are generated in System 7 because a bettor who chooses this option would have to choose seven (7) numbers. In System 8, on the other hand, 28 combinations are produced because the player will need to pick a total of eight (8) numbers out of the numbers 1 to 55.

In short, more and more number combinations are produced as the selected numbers increase. This same rule applies to the rest of the remaining system bets.

In the case of System 5R, the bettor marks five (5) numbers instead of six. These 5 numbers are automatically combined with the remaining fifty (50) numbers, generating 50 six-number combinations in all.

Note that your overall ticket cost will be much higher in system plays because of the higher number of combinations you will bet on. The overall price of the ticket shall be PhP 20 multiplied by the number of combinations produced.

The following table indicates the number of combination as well as the corresponding ticket cost for every system bet.
