Grand Lotto 6/55 System Plays – How to Improve your Chances of Winning the Jackpot

6/55 Lotto System Bets allow players to pick more than the usual six (6) numbers per draw, thereby increasing their chances of winning the jackpot.

In case you want to play system bets, these are the options you can select from- System 5-Roll (System 5R), System 7, System 8, System 9, System 10, System 11 and System 12.

A total of seven (7) combinations are produced in System 7 because a bettor who picks this option would have to select seven (7) numbers. In System 8, on the other hand, 28 combinations are generated because the bettor will have to choose a total of eight (8) numbers out of the numbers 1 to 55.

The total number of combinations increases as the chosen numbers increase. The same rule applies for System 9, System 10, System 11 and System 12.

In the case of System 5R, you only select five (5) numbers and if your 5 numbers match the winning combination, you automatically win the jackpot. This is because in System 5R, the 5 numbers you have chosen are automatically matched with each of the remaining 50 digits in the play slip, producing a total of 50 combinations.

Please note that your overall ticket cost will be much higher in system bets because of the higher number of combinations you will place your bet on. The overall price of the ticket shall be PhP 20 multiplied by the number of combinations produced.

The following table shows the number of combination as well as the corresponding ticket cost for every system bet.
