PCSO uses pari mutel system in determining Grand Lotto 6/55 prizes. This means that the actual prize that each winner shall get depends on the gross sales and number of winners on a certain prize tier.

The following are the updated prizes for Grandlotto 6/55 according to the PCSO:

  • Jackpot prize awaits those who will get six (6) out of the six (6) number drawn in any order. Jackpot prize starts at PhP 29,700,000.
  • If you got five (5) numbers of the winning number combination, you receive the second prize in the amount of PhP 100,000.
  • If your combination matches four (4) out of the six (6) numbers drawn, you take home a prize of PhP 1,500.

How to Play Grandlotto

Before you go any further, please remember that you need to be at least 18 years old to play.

These are the complete instructions when playing Grand Lotto 6/55:

  1. Go to any lotto outlet authorized by PCSO and look for the Grand Lotto 6/55 betting card.
  2. Pick six (6) numbers that will comprise your 6/55 Lotto combination. You can pick from numbers 1 to 49.
  3. Mark LP (Lucky Pick) in case you want the system to randomly generate the numbers for you.
  4. You can also pick up to twelve (12) numbers through the 6/55 Lotto System Play to improve your chances of hitting the jackpot.
  5. For multiple draws, mark the number of succeeding draws you want to join in the Draw panel.
  6. Pay the corresponding ticket price to the teller and get your printed ticket.
  7. Check the 6/55 Lotto Result right after the 9:00 pm scheduled draw to see if your ticket matches the winning number combination.

One 6/55 Lotto combination costs PhP 20, inclusive of 20% Documentary Stamp Tax (DST).

After placing your bet, sign the back portion of your Grand Lotto 6/55 ticket and store it in safe and dry place.

Do not soak in water, fold or iron or write anything on your 6/55 Lotto ticket except the portion designated for your signature. Tickets must be validated by the machine when claiming prizes.

How to Play: You have to be at least 18 years old to play. In your playslip, select six numbers from 1 to 55 or mark Lucky Pick (LP) for a computer generated numbers. GrandLotto 6/55 ticket costs P20.00 each 6-number combination per draw.

Amidst this pandemic, PCSO imposed the following protocol in all lotto outlets in the country.

  1. Make sure to wear face mask at all times. Players with no face mask will not be permitted to purchase 6/55 Lotto tickets.
  2. Follow physical distancing when placing 6/55 Lotto bets.
  3. Bring your own ball pen when placing bets.
  4. Use the money tray to eliminate physical contact.
  5. Apply alcohols or disinfectants before you leave the lotto outlet.
  6. Put away your used play card and old tickets into the trash can.

Grand Lotto 6/55 System Plays – Improve your Odds of Winning the Jackpot

You can increase your chances of winning the jackpot through 6/55 Lotto System Bets. This advanced option allows you to pick more than the usual six (6) numbers and produces several combinations of your chosen numbers.

These are the choices available in case you want to play system bets- System 7, System 8, System 9, System 10, System 11, System 12 and System 5-Roll (System 5R).

With System 7, a player chooses seven (7) numbers which generates a total of seven (7) combinations. In System 8, the bettor chooses eight (8) numbers, generating a total of 28 combinations.

The total number of combinations increases as the chosen numbers increase. The same rule applies for System 9, System 10, System 11 and System 12.

In the case of System 5-Roll, the bettor will only need to pick five (5) numbers. The remaining (unmarked) 50 numbers will be partnered with the 5 chosen numbers. This produces a total of 50 six-number combinations.

Remember that your total bet cost will be much higher in system plays because of the higher number of combinations you will place your bet on. The overall cost of the ticket shall be PhP 20 multiplied by the number of combinations generated.

What are the ways to win in 6/55 Lotto?

You win a prize in Grand Lotto 6/55 by getting at least three (3) drawn numbers in any order. Bigger prizes awaits those who will match four (4), five (5) or six (6) winning numbers.

If you match three (3) out of six (6), you take home PhP 60. Four (4) out of six (6) wins you a fixed amount equal to PhP 1,500 while five (5) out of six (6) gives you a prize equal to PhP 100,000.

Getting all the winning numbers gives you the jackpot prize worth no less than PhP 29.70 Million.

You can increase your chances of winning by playing a system bet. With this option, you can select up to 12 numbers per column in the play card, thereby creating up to 924 combinations.

You can select from seven available system plays. These are the System 5R and System 7 up to System 12.

Ticket cost shall be based on the total number of created combinations.

How much does a Grand Lotto System 12 ticket cost?

System 12 is the Grand Lotto system play that allows bettors to pick a total of twelve (12) numbers instead of the usual six (6) numbers. This play type creates 924 combinations in all and costs PhP 18,480 (Php 20 x 924 combinations).

To play System 12, just pick your preferred 12-number combination and then mark the number 12 in the SYS panel of the 6/55 Lotto play card.

How can I choose more than 6 numbers in the 6/55 Lotto bet slip?

You can select more than 6 numbers by playing any of the system plays for 6/55 Grandlotto. You can choose from System 7 (7 numbers), System 8 (8 numbers), System 9 (8 numbers), System 10 (10 numbers), System 11 (11 numbers) and System 12 (12 numbers).

You can also select only 5 numbers using the System 5R. Please remember that the total number of combinations is considered when calculating the total ticket price.

PCSO is airing Grand Lotto 6/55 draws three times a week every Monday, Wednesday and Saturday at 9:00 PM at the PCSO draw court in Mandaluyong City.

What is DST?

DST or Documentary Stamp Tax is a 20% tax levied on lotto ticket prices by the government by virtue of the Tax Reform for Acceleration and Inclusion Law (TRAIN Law).

PCSO commenced adding 20% DST on the prices of its tickets when the law came into force in 2018. As a result, 2D (EZ2), 3D (Swertres), 4D and 6D Lotto ticket prices went up from PhP 10 to PhP 12 while the 6/42, 6/45, 6/49, 6/55 and 6/55 Lotto tickets increased from PhP 20 to PhP 24.

On July 18, 2020, PCSO reverted the price of its major lotto games to Php 20.

February 10, 2021– PCSO persuades everyone from buying lotto tickets from persons claiming to be part of a supposed PCSO ‘online’ betting system. The agency said it does not have any such system yet.

January 6, 2021– PCSO announces the resumption of 6D and 4D Lotto draws.

July 20, 2020– PCSO annouced the resumption of its lotto operations on August 4, 2020 after months-long suspension due to COVID-19 pandemic.

July 18, 2020– PCSO announces the return of the PhP 20 ticket price of its major lotto games. Prices were previously raised to PhP 24 after the TRAIN Act took effect.
