The prize that each winner receives depend on the total number of winners as well as gross sales. PCSO employs a payout structure for Ultralotto 6/58 based on this pari mutuel wagering system.

- Go to an authorized PCSO lottery outlet and grab the Ultra Lotto 6/58 playing card.
- Pick six (6) numbers that will compose your 6/58 Lotto combination. You can choose from numbers 1 to 58.
- If you cannot think of any number combination, choose Lucky Pick (LP) to have the system pick the numbers for you.
- You can also mark up to twelve (12) numbers using the 6/58 Lotto System Play to raise your chances of winning the jackpot.
- For Advance Plays, mark the number of succeeding draws in the Draw section.
- Pay the total ticket price to the cashier and get your printed lotto ticket.

Each Ultralotto combination costs PhP 20. If you played any of the System Bets, the total bet amount would vary from PhP 140 to PhP 18,480, depending on the total number of combinations generated. The ticket price includes a 20% Documentary Stamp Tax (DST).
Once done placing your bet, affix your signature at the back of your 6/58 Ultra Lotto ticket. Keep it in a safe and dry place.
Do not soak in water, fold or iron or write anything on your Ultra Lotto ticket except the portion designated for your signature. Tickets must be validated by the machine when claiming prizes.
Six balls numbered from 1 to 58 will be drawn and you win the jackpot prize by matching all of the drawn numbers, in any order. If two or more persons win the jackpot, payment for each winner is determined by dividing equally the jackpot amount.You also win prizes if you match any 3, 4, or 5 numbers of the winning 6-number combination, in any order.

Ultra Lotto 6/58 System Plays – How to Increase the Chances of Winning the Jackpot
You can improve your chances of winning the jackpot through 6/58 Lotto System Bets. This advanced option allows you to pick more than the usual six (6) numbers and generates several combinations of your chosen numbers.
The system bets available in 6/58 Lotto are System 7, System 8, System 9, System 10, System 11, System 12 and System 5-Roll (System 5R).
In System 7, a bettor selects seven (7) numbers which generates a total of seven (7) combinations. With System 8, on the other hand, the player selects a total of eight (8) numbers generating a total of 28 combinations.
To sum it up, more and more number combinations are produced as the marked numbers increase. This same rule applies to the rest of the remaining system plays.
