PCSO employs pari mutel system in determining 6/58 Lotto prizes. This means that the actual amount that each winner shall get depends on the gross sales and number of winners on a certain prize tier.

Before you go any further, remember that PCSO only allows persons 18 years old and above to play.
These are the complete steps when playing 6/58 Lotto:
- Go to the nearest authorized PCSO lottery outlet and get a play card with Ultra Lotto 6/58 logo.
- Pick your 6/58 number combination by marking six (6) out of numbers 1 to 58.
- If you can’t think of any number combination, choose the Lucky Pick (LP) to have the terminal automatically choose the number combination for you.
- Optionally pick one of the options in the 6/58 Lotto System Play. With this option, you can pick more than the usual six number combination.
- For Advance Plays, select the number of consecutive draws in the Draw section.
- Give your play card and corresponding payment to the teller and get your ticket after it is generated.
- After the draw, see the 6/58 Lotto result to see if you won the prize.
One Ultralotto 6/58 combination costs PhP 20, inclusive of 20% Documentary Stamp Tax (DST).
Make sure to sign the back of the the 6/58 Ultra Lotto ticket after placing your bet and to store the ticket in a safe and dry place.
Do not soak in water, iron, fold or write anything on your 6/58 Ultralotto ticket except the portion designated for your signature. Tickets have to be machine-validated when claiming prizes.

Amidst this pandemic, PCSO imposed the following regulations in all lotto outlets nationwide.
- Put on your face mask at all times. No Facemask-No Betting policy shall be carried out in all lotto outlets in the country.
- Always observe one (1) meter physical distance from each other.
- Bring your own ball pen.
- Use the tray provided when handing out your bet card and payment.
- Use the alcohols, disinfectant or hand sanitizer provided before leaving the lotto outlet.
- Avoid littering and put away any used bet slip or old tickets in the garbage bins.
Ultralotto System Bets – Increase the Chances of Winning the Jackpot
You can improve your chances of winning the jackpot through 6/58 Lotto System Bets. This advanced option allows you to pick more than the usual six (6) numbers and creates several combinations of your chosen numbers.
The available system bets in 6/58 Lotto are System 5-Roll (System 5R), System 7, System 8, System 9, System 10, System 11 and System 12.
In System 7, a player picks seven (7) numbers which creates a total of seven (7) combinations. With System 8, on the other hand, the bettor chooses a total of eight (8) numbers producing a total of 28 combinations.
The total number of combinations increases as the selected numbers increase. The same rule applies for System 9, System 10, System 11 and System 12.
With regard to System 5-Roll, the bettor will only have to mark five (5) numbers. The remaining (unmarked) 53 numbers will be matched with the 5 chosen numbers. This produces a total of 53 combinations.
Please remember that the higher the number of combinations, the higher the total ticket cost will be. The total ticket price is PhP 20 multiplied by the number of combinations produced.

How can I win prizes in Ultra Lotto 6/58?
You win a prize by getting at least three (3) numbers of the winning Ultra Lotto number combination. The more matching numbers, the higher the prizes you will receive.
If you match three (3) out of six (6), you take home PhP 100. Four (4) out of six (6) wins you a fixed amount equal to PhP 2,000 while five (5) out of six (6) gives you a prize in the amount of PhP 120,000.
If you got all the six (6) numbers correctly, you take home the jackpot prize of no less than PhP 49.5 Million.
You can improve your chances of winning by opting for a system play. With this option, you can select up to 12 numbers per column in the bet card, thereby producing up to 924 combinations.
You can select from seven available system plays. These are the System 5R and System 7 up to System 12.
Ticket price shall be based on the total number of produced combinations.

How much does a Ultralotto System 8 ticket cost?
System 8 is the Ultralotto system play that allows bettors to pick a total of eight (8) numbers instead of the typical six (6) numbers. This play type produces 28 combinations in all and costs PhP 560 (Php 20 x 28 combinations).
To play System 8, simply select your preferred 8-number combination and then mark the number 8 in the SYS column of the 6/58 Lotto betting card.
How can a specific combination in the 6/58 Ultra Lotto play slip disregarded?
To cancel or disregard a specific Ultra Lotto 6/58 number combination, mark the VOID directly below it before submitting the play card to the teller.
Please note that you can only void your 6/58 Ultralotto number combination before purchasing the ticket. Any Ultralotto number combination that has been accepted by the terminal can no longer be canceled or voided.
How do I Play Ultra Lotto 6/58 System 10?
System 10 is the 6/58 Ultralotto system bet that lets players to pick a total of ten (10) numbers instead of the default six (6) numbers. This play type creates 210 combinations in all and costs PhP 4,200 (Php 20 x 210 combinations).
To play System 10, just pick your preferred 10-number combination and then mark the number 10 in the SYS section of the 6/58 Lotto playing card.
What does DST stand for?
DST or Documentary Stamp Tax is a 20% tax levied on PCSO lotto ticket prices by the government by virtue of the Tax Reform for Acceleration and Inclusion Law (TRAIN Law).
PCSO began adding 20% DST on the prices of its tickets when the law came into force in 2018. Thus, 2D (EZ2), 3D (Swertres), 4D and 6D Lotto ticket prices increased from PhP 10 to PhP 12 while the 6/42, 6/45, 6/49, 6/55 and 6/58 Lotto tickets increased from PhP 20 to PhP 24.
On November 28, 2020, PCSO returned the price of its major lotto games to Php 20.
Can I get a refund for the Lotto 6/58 ticket that I bought?
You cannot cancel, void or refund your Ultralotto 6/58 ticket after it is processed by the computer. Players have the sole responsibility of checking the accuracy of the data printed on the 6/58 Lotto ticket such as the number combination, bet type and amount of bet.
Thus, you need to thoroughly check all the numbers and options you chose before you give the betting card to the cashier.

February 10, 2021– PCSO persuades everyone from purchasing lotto tickets from persons claiming to be part of a alleged PCSO ‘online’ betting platform. The agency states it does not have any such system yet.
January 6, 2021– PCSO resumes its 6-Digit and 4-Digit Lotto draws.
July 20, 2020– PCSO announces the resumption of its lotto operation on August 4, 2020.
