Ultralotto 6/58 is a game of six numbers from One (1) to Fifty-Eight (58). It was introduced in February 2015 and has since became one of the most popular lotteries in the country. The prize that each winner gets depend on the total number of winners as well as gross sales. PCSO uses a payout system for 6/58 Ultra Lotto based on this pari mutuel computation.
Here are the different prizes for each tier of the 6/58 Ultralotto payout structure:
- If you matched the six (6) winning numbers in any order, you hit the jackpot for Ultralotto. Jackpot starts at PhP 49,500,000.
- If you got five (5) numbers of the winning number combination, you take home the second prize worth PhP 120,000.

Before you go any further, note that you must be at least 18 years old to play.
These are the complete instructions when playing 6/58 Lotto:
- Go to a PCSO-authorized lotto outlet and grab the Ultra Lotto 6/58 betting card.
- Select your 6/58 number combination by marking six (6) out of numbers 1 to 58.
- If you cannot think of any number, choose the Lucky Pick (LP) to let the terminal randomly generate the number combination for you.
- Optionally choose one of the options in the 6/58 Lotto System Play. With this option, you can select more than the regular six number combination.
- For Advance Plays, select the number of succeeding draws in the Draw panel.
- Pay the total ticket price to the cashier and get your generated lotto ticket.
- View the 6/58 Lotto result after the scheduled draw to verify if your ticket matches the winning combination.
Each Ultra Lotto number combination costs PhP 20. If you played any of the System Bets, the total play amount would vary from PhP 140 to PhP 18,480, depending on the total number of combinations generated. The ticket price includes a 20% Documentary Stamp Tax (DST).
Once done placing your bet, affix your signature at the back of your 6/58 Ultra Lotto ticket. Keep it in a secure and dry place.
Do not soak in water, fold or iron or write anything on your 6/58 Ultra Lotto ticket except the portion designated for your signature. Tickets must be machine-validated when claiming prizes.

Ultra Lotto System Plays – How to Improve your Odds of Winning
You can improve your chances of winning the jackpot through 6/58 Lotto System Bets. This advanced option allows you to pick more than the usual six (6) numbers and generates multiple combinations of your chosen numbers.
The system bets available in 6/58 Lotto are System 7, System 8, System 9, System 10, System 11, System 12 and System 5-Roll (System 5R).
With System 7, a bettor picks seven (7) numbers which generates a total of seven (7) combinations. In System 8, the player picks eight (8) numbers, creating a total of 28 combinations.
In short, more and more number combinations are generated as the choosen numbers increase. This same rule applies to the rest of the remaining system bets.
In the case of System 5R, you only need to choose five (5) numbers instead of the regular six-number combination. The remaining unmarked numbers in the play slip (53 in all) will be partnered with the 5 numbers you selected, thus creating 53 six-number combinations in total.
Please remember that your total ticket cost will be much higher in system plays due to the higher number of combinations you will place your bet on. The overall cost of the ticket shall be PhP 20 multiplied by the number of combinations generated.

How do I win a prize in 6/58 Ultra Lotto?
You win a prize by matching at least three (3) numbers of the drawn 6/58 Lotto number combination. The more matching numbers, the bigger the prizes you will receive.
If you got three (3) out of six (6), you receive PhP 100. Four (4) out of six (6) gives you a fixed prize equal to PhP 2,000 while five (5) out of six (6) gives you a prize equal to PhP 120,000.
Matching all the winning numbers gives you the jackpot prize worth at least PhP 49.50 Million.
You can increase your chances of hitting the jackpot by picking up to 12 numbers using a system play. This type of bet creates a higher number of combinations which ranges from 7 to 924 combinations.
The system plays you can choose from are the System 5R and System 7 up to System 12.
The price of tickets in system plays depend on the overall number of combinations generated.
