3D Lotto is a game of three digits from Zero (0) to Nine (9). It was introduced in June 2002 as “Swertres Lotto” and has since become one of the extremely popular fixed payout lotteries in the country. There are three plays in 3D Lotto. These are the Straight Play which comes with a prize of PhP 4,500, the Rambolito 3 Play with a prize of PhP 1,500, and the Rambolito 6 Play with PhP 750. The odds of getting these prizes are respectively at 1 in 1000, 1 in 333, and 1 in 167.

How to Play 3D Lotto

Follow these complete steps to learn how to play the PCSO 3D Lotto game:

1. Mark a set of three (3) numbers from one (1) to nine (9) in each column on a 3D Lotto play card.
2. If you can’t think of any number combination, choose Lucky Pick (LP) to let the computer generate the 3D Lotto number combination for you.
3. Choose Rambolito if you want the computer to automatically permutate all the possible combinations of the digits you have selected.
4. Pick the amount that you wish to play for each combination.
5. For Advance Plays, select the number of consecutive draws in the Draw Draw panel.
6. Pay the ticket price and get your generated ticket once done.
7. View the 3D result after the scheduled draw to verify if you got the winning combination.

3D Lotto ticket costs PhP 12 per number combination. This amount is inclusive of 20% Documentary Stamp Tax (DST).

Once done placing your bet, affix your signature at the back of your 3D Lotto ticket. Keep it in a secure and dry place.

Your ticket needs to be machine-validated before you can claim your prize. Hence, do not fold, wet, iron or tamper with your ticket.

Note that only 18 years old and above are permitted to play and claim the prizes.

You can also to play the Rambolito. Select a 3-digit number combination and the system will automatically permutate and generate all its possible combinations. In case the selected 3-digit combination has no repeating digits, e.g.123, the number of combinations generated will be six (6). If the selected 3-digit combination has two (2) repeating digits, e.g. 122, the number of combinations generated will be three (3).

Important PCSO Protocols to be Followed when Playing 3D Lotto

In light of the on-going pandemic, 3D Lotto players must abide by the following rules and regulations imposed at all lotto outlets when buying tickets to ensure that the minimum health and safety guidelines are met.

1. Make sure to wear face mask at all times. Bettors without face mask will not be allowed to play 3D Lotto.
2. Always observe one (1) meter physical distance from each other.
3. Bring your own pen.
4. Sanitize your hands before and after betting. Alcohol or hand sanitizers are available in the betting area.
5. Use the money tray to lessen contact.
6. Avoid littering and throw away used bet slips or old tickets in the garbage bins.

3D Lotto Prizes for Rambolito and Standard/Straight Plays

3D Lotto is one of PCSO’s popular digit game. PCSO uses the following prize system for 3D Lotto:

In Standard or Straight Play, a bettor takes home PhP 4,500 if he matches all three winning numbers in exact order.

In Rambolito 3 play, the bettor takes home PhP 1,500 in case he gets one pair of same digit and another digit in any order while in Rambolito 6 play, the winner receives PhP 750 if he matches the three different digits in any order.

How can I win prizes in 3D Lotto?

You win a prize by playing 3D Lotto in either Straight (Standard) Play or Rambolito Play.

In Straight Play, you select three (3) digits, one for each column consisting of digits 0 to 9.

If your entry matches the 3D winning numbers in exact order, you win PhP 4,500.

The Straight/Standard Play is the default option unless you mark Rambolito option in the play slip.

In Rambolito Play, you still win a prize regardless if your chosen number combination does not match the winning numbers in exact order. The downside is, the prizes in Rambolito Play are much lower than in the Straight Play.

With Rambolito, you play either Rambolito 6 in case your marked combination has no repeating digits, or Rambolito 3 if your selected number combination has one repeating digit.

If your number combination matches the 3D results in any order, you win either PhP 1,500 (Rambolito 3) or PhP 750 (Rambolito 6).

I am below 18 years old, am I allowed to play 3D Lotto?

Only persons 18 years old and above are allowed to play the 3D Lotto. Aside from the age requirement, some restrictions such as the No Mask-No Betting system are also in place owing to the on-going COVID-19 epidemic.

Can I get a refund for the 3D Lotto ticket that I bought?

You cannot cancel, void or refund a 3D Lotto ticket once it is printed by the terminal. Bettors have the sole responsibility of checking the accuracy of the data printed on the 3D Lotto ticket such as the number combination, bet type and amount of bet.

Thus, you need to verify all the numbers and options you selected before you give the play slip to the cashier.

What is Documentary Stamps Tax?

DST or Documentary Stamp Tax is a 20% tax levied on PCSO lotto ticket prices by the government by virtue of the Tax Reform for Acceleration and Inclusion Act (TRAIN Act).

PCSO started adding 20% DST on the prices of its tickets when the law took effect in 2018. Thus, 2D (EZ2), 3D (Swertres), 4D and 6D Lotto ticket prices increased from PhP 10 to PhP 12 while the 6/42, 6/45, 6/49, 6/55 and 6/58 Lotto tickets increased from PhP 20 to PhP 24.

How to claim the 3D Lotto Prize?

To claim 3D Lotto prizes below PhP 5,000, proceed to the nearest authorized lotto outlet or PCSO branch and present your winning ticket.

Prizes above PhP 5,000 but not exceeding PhP 20,000 can be claimed at the nearest PCSO branch office.

Lotto prizes above PhP 20,000 can only be claimed at the PCSO head office located at 605 Conservatory Bldg., Shaw Blvd. corner Priceton St., Mandaluyong City.

February 10, 2021– PCSO persuades everyone from buying lotto tickets from entities claiming to be part of a alleged PCSO ‘online’ betting system. PCSO said it does not have any such system yet.

January 6, 2021– PCSO resumes its 6-Digit and 4-Digit Lotto draws.

July 20, 2020– PCSO annouced the resumption of its lotto operations starting August 4, 2020 after months-long suspension due to COVID-19 pandemic.
