Before you go any further, note that you must be at least 18 years old to play.
These are the detailed steps when playing Lotto 6/42:
- Go to any authorized PCSO lotto agent near you and look for the PCSO Lotto 6/42 bet slip.
- Choose six (6) numbers between 1 to 42. These numbers will be your 6/42 Lotto combination.
- If you cannot think of any number combination, mark the Lucky Pick (LP) to let the system randomly pick the numbers for you.
- Improve your odds of winning the jackpot through the 6/42 Lotto System Play.
- Mark the number of consecutive draws you want to play in the Draw section.
- Give your betting card and payment to the teller and get your generated ticket once printed.
- After the draw, check the 6/42 Lotto Result to verify if you won the prize.
Each Lotto 6/42 combination costs PhP 20. If you played any of the System Bets, the total bet amount would vary from PhP 140 to PhP 18,480, depending on the overall number of combinations generated. The ticket price includes a 20% Documentary Stamp Tax (DST).

PCSO Lotto 6/42 System Bets – How to Increase your Odds of Winning the Jackpot
6/42 Lotto System Bets allow players to pick more than the typical six (6) numbers per draw, thereby increasing their chances of winning the jackpot.
These are the options available if you want to play system bets- System 7, System 8, System 9, System 10, System 11, System 12 and System 5-Roll (System 5R).
In System 7, a bettor chooses seven (7) numbers which produces a total of seven (7) combinations. With System 8, on the other hand, the bettor selects a total of eight (8) numbers producing a total of 28 combinations.
To sum up, more and more number combinations are produced as the marked numbers increase. This same rule applies to the rest of the remaining system bets.
With regard to System 5-Roll, a bettor selects only five (5) numbers and—for the sixth number—pairs these off with each of the remaining thirty-seven (37) numbers, generating a total of 37 combinations.
Remember that the higher the number of combinations, the higher the overall ticket cost will be. The total ticket price is PhP 20 multiplied by the number of combinations created.

If you got three (3) out of six (6), you receive PhP 20. Four (4) out of six (6) wins you a prize equal to PhP 800 while five (5) out of six (6) gives you a prize worth PhP 24,000.
If you got all the six (6) winning numbers correctly, you take home the jackpot prize of no less than PhP 5.94 Million.
You can boost your odds of winning by opting for a system play. With this option, you can mark up to 12 numbers per column in the play card, thus creating up to 924 number combinations.

What does DST stand for?
DST or Documentary Stamp Tax is a 20% tax levied on lotto ticket prices by the government by virtue of the Tax Reform for Acceleration and Inclusion Act (TRAIN Act).
PCSO started adding 20% DST on the prices of its tickets when the law came into effect in 2018. Accordingly, 2D (EZ2), 3D (Swertres), 4D and 6D Lotto ticket prices rose from PhP 10 to PhP 12 while the 6/42, 6/45, 6/49, 6/55 and 6/42 Lotto tickets rose from PhP 20 to PhP 24.
On July 18, 2020, PCSO reverted the price of its major lotto games to Php 20.

How much does a PCSO Lotto System 12 ticket cost?
System 12 is the Lotto 6/42 system play that lets bettors to select a total of twelve (12) numbers instead of the regular six (6) numbers. This play type produces 924 combinations in all and costs PhP 18,480 (Php 20 x 924 combinations).
To play System 12, simply choose your preferred 12-number combination and then mark the number 12 in the SYS section of the 6/42 Lotto play card.

PCSO only allows persons aged 18 and above to play the 6/42 Lotto. Aside from the age requirement, some restrictions such as the No Mask-No Betting system are also in place due to the current COVID-19 epidemic.

March 10, 2021– PCSO persuades everyone from purchasing lotto tickets from entities claiming to be part of a supposed PCSO ‘online’ betting platform. PCSO states it does not have any such system yet.
