Lotto 6/42 System Plays – Ways to Improve the Chances of Winning the Jackpot

You can improve your chances of winning the jackpot through 6/42 Lotto System Bets. This advanced option allows you to pick more than the usual six (6) numbers and creates multiple combinations of your chosen numbers.

The system bets available in 6/42 Lotto are System 7, System 8, System 9, System 10, System 11, System 12 and System 5-Roll (System 5R).

A total of seven (7) combinations are created in System 7 because a player who picks this option would have to choose seven (7) numbers. In System 8, on the other hand, 28 combinations are produced because the player will need to mark a total of eight (8) numbers out of the numbers 1 to 42.

To sum up, more and more number combinations are created as the marked numbers increase. This same rule applies to the rest of the remaining system bets.

In System 5-Roll, you only pick five (5) numbers and if your 5 numbers match the winning combination, you automatically win the jackpot. This is because in System 5-Roll, the 5 numbers you have selected are automatically matched with each of the remaining 37 digits in the board, producing a total of 37 six-number combinations.

Remember that the higher the number of combinations, the higher the total ticket cost will be. The total ticket cost is PhP 20 multiplied by the number of combinations generated.

The following table shows the number of combination as well as the corresponding ticket cost for every system play.
