Lotto 6/42 System Bets – Ways to Improve your Chances of Winning the Jackpot

6/42 Lotto System Bets allow players to pick more than the typical six (6) numbers per draw, thereby increasing their chances of winning the jackpot.

The system plays available in 6/42 Lotto are System 7, System 8, System 9, System 10, System 11, System 12 and System 5-Roll (System 5R).

A total of seven (7) combinations are created in System 7 because a player who selects this option would need to mark seven (7) numbers. In System 8, on the other hand, 28 combinations are produced because the bettor will have to pick a total of eight (8) numbers out of the numbers 1 to 42.

The overall number of combinations increases as the chosen numbers increase. The same rule applies for System 9, System 10, System 11 and System 12.

With System 5R, you only have to choose five (5) numbers instead of the typical six-number combination. The remaining unselected numbers in the bet card (37 in all) will be partnered with the 5 numbers you selected, thus creating 37 combinations in all.

Keep in mind that your total ticket cost will be much higher in system plays due to the higher number of combinations you will place your bet on. The overall ticket price shall be PhP 20 times the number of combinations produced.

The following table reflects the number of combination as well as the corresponding ticket cost for each system bet.
