National Lotto 6/42 System Plays – Ways to Increase your Chances of Winning

6/42 Lotto System Bets allow players to pick more than the typical six (6) numbers per draw, thereby increasing their chances of winning the jackpot.

These are the options available if you want to play system bets- System 7, System 8, System 9, System 10, System 11, System 12 and System 5-Roll (System 5R).

A total of seven (7) combinations are generated in System 7 because a bettor who marks this option would need to select seven (7) numbers. In System 8, on the other hand, 28 combinations are produced because the player will need to mark a total of eight (8) numbers out of the numbers 1 to 42.

In essence, more and more number combinations are created as the choosen numbers increase. This same rule applies to the rest of the remaining system plays.

With regard to System 5-Roll, you only choose five (5) numbers and if your 5 numbers match the winning combination, you automatically win the jackpot. This is because in System 5R, the 5 numbers you have picked are automatically partnered with each of the remaining 37 digits in the play slip, producing a total of 37 six-number combinations.

Note that the higher the number of combinations, the higher the total ticket cost will be. The total cost of the ticket is PhP 20 multiplied by the number of combinations produced.

Refer to the table below for more information on overall ticket cost for each Philippine Lotto 6/42 system play.
