Philippine Lotto 6/42 System Plays – Learn How to Increase the Odds of Winning the Jackpot

6/42 Lotto System Bets allow players to pick more than the default six (6) numbers per draw, thereby increasing their chances of winning the jackpot.

The available system plays in 6/42 Lotto are System 5-Roll (System 5R), System 7, System 8, System 9, System 10, System 11 and System 12.

A total of seven (7) combinations are created in System 7 because a bettor who picks this option would need to select seven (7) numbers. In System 8, on the other hand, 28 combinations are generated because the bettor will need to choose a total of eight (8) numbers out of the numbers 1 to 42.

The total number of combinations increases as the marked numbers increase. The same rule applies for System 9, System 10, System 11 and System 12.

In System 5-Roll, the player will only need to choose five (5) numbers. The remaining (unmarked) 37 numbers will be combined with the 5 picked numbers. This generates a total of 37 six-number combinations.

Please remember that the higher the number of combinations, the higher the total ticket cost will be. The total cost of the ticket is PhP 20 times the number of combinations generated.

The following table shows the number of combination as well as the corresponding ticket cost for every system bet.
