2. Choose a set of six (6) numbers from one (1) to Forty-Two (42) in each column of the play card.
3. Mark LP (Lucky Pick) in case you want the system to automatically select the numbers for you.
4. Optionally mark one of the options under the 6/42 Lotto System Play. With this option, you can select more than the usual six number combination.
5. For Advance Plays, mark the number of consecutive draws in the Draw section.
6. Hand over your play slip and payment to the teller and get your printed ticket once printed.
7. Check the 6/42 Lotto Result right after the 9:00 pm live draw to know if your ticket matches the winning combination.

One 6/42 Lotto combination costs PhP 20, inclusive of 20% Documentary Stamp Tax (DST).

Make sure to sign the back portion of the your 6/42 Lotto ticket after placing your bet and to keep the ticket in a secure and dry place.

2. Observe social distancing when buying 6/42 Lotto tickets.
3. Use your own ball pen when purchasing lotto tickets.
4. Use the money tray to lessen contact.
5. Use the alcohols, disinfectant or hand sanitizer provided before you leave the outlet.
6. Throw away your used play card and non-winning lotto tickets into the garbage can.

Philippine Lotto 6/42 System Plays – Ways to Improve the Odds of Winning the Jackpot

6/42 Lotto System Bets allow players to pick more than the usual six (6) numbers per draw, thereby increasing their chances of winning the jackpot.

The system plays available in 6/42 Lotto are System 7, System 8, System 9, System 10, System 11, System 12 and System 5-Roll (System 5R).

A total of seven (7) combinations are generated in System 7 because a player who selects this option would have to pick seven (7) numbers. In System 8, on the other hand, 28 combinations are generated because the player will have to select a total of eight (8) numbers out of the numbers 1 to 42.

The overall number of combinations increases as the selected numbers increase. The same rule applies for System 9, System 10, System 11 and System 12.

In the case of System 5-Roll, you only pick five (5) numbers and if your 5 numbers match the winning combination, you automatically win the jackpot. This is because in System 5R, the 5 numbers you have marked are automatically matched with each of the remaining 37 digits in the board, generating a total of 37 combinations.

Please note that your total bet cost will be much higher in system plays due to the higher number of combinations you will place your bet on. The total ticket price shall be PhP 20 times the number of combinations created.

How many combinations are there in System 8 for 6/42 Lotto?
