6/42 Lotto is a game of six numbers from One (1) to Forty-Two (42). It was launched in March 1995 and has since became one of the extremely popular lotteries in the country. Its jackpot, which starts at PhP 5.9 Million, grows after each draw until a bettor matches the winning combination in any order. The odds of winning the 6/42 Lotto jackpot are 1 in 5,245,786.

The prize that each winner gets depend on the aggregate number of winners as well as gross sales. PCSO uses a prize system for PCSO Lotto 6/42 based on this pari mutuel wagering system.

- You can also choose up to twelve (12) numbers using the 6/42 Lotto System Play to increase your odds of hitting the jackpot.
- For multiple draws, mark the number of succeeding draws you want to join in the Draw section.
- Hand over your bet card and payment to the cashier and get your printed ticket once printed.

PCSO Lotto 6/42 ticket costs PhP 20 per number combination. This amount already includes the 20% Documentary Stamp Tax (DST).
Make sure to sign the back portion of the the Lotto 6/42 ticket after placing your bet and to keep the ticket in a safe and dry place.
Do not iron, fold, soak in water or write anything on your PCSO Lotto 6/42 ticket except the portion designated for your signature. Tickets must be machine-validated when claiming prizes.

PCSO Lotto 6/42 System Bets – Increase your Chances of Winning the Jackpot
You can improve your chances of winning the jackpot through 6/42 Lotto System Bets. This advanced option allows you to pick more than the usual six (6) numbers and creates numerous combinations of your chosen numbers.
These are the choices available if you want to play system bets- System 7, System 8, System 9, System 10, System 11, System 12 and System 5-Roll (System 5R).
A total of seven (7) combinations are produced in System 7 because a player who picks this option would have to pick seven (7) numbers. In System 8, on the other hand, 28 combinations are produced because the player will have to select a total of eight (8) numbers out of the numbers 1 to 42.
To sum up, more and more number combinations are produced as the selected numbers increase. This same rule applies to the rest of the remaining system plays.
In the case of System 5-Roll, the bettor selects five (5) numbers instead of six. These 5 numbers are automatically combined with the remaining thirty-seven (37) numbers, producing 37 six-number combinations in total.
Keep in mind that the higher the number of combinations, the higher the overall bet cost will be. The overall ticket price is PhP 20 multiplied by the number of combinations created.

What are the ways to win in 6/42 Lotto?
In 6/42 Lotto, you win a prize by getting at least three (3) out of the six (6) winning numbers. More matching number means higher prizes for you.
Getting three (3) of the winning combination gives you PhP 20, four (4) matching numbers gives you a prize equal to PhP 800 while five (5) numbers gives you a prize equal to PhP 24,000.
If you got all the six (6) numbers correctly, you take home the jackpot prize of at least PhP 5.9 Million.
Increase your chances of winning using a system bet. This option allows you to select up to 12 numbers instead of just 6, thereby creating a bigger number of combinations.
The system plays you can select from are the System 5-Roll and System 7 up to System 12.

March 10, 2021– PCSO reminds the betting public to not to patronize persons and entities claiming to be part of PCSO and luring them to purchase tickets online using their platform. To date, PCSO has no online betting platform yet whether through an app, text or calls.
January 6, 2021– PCSO announces the resumption of 4D and 6D Lotto draws.
July 20, 2020– PCSO resumes its lotto operations on August 4, 2020 after suspending it for seveal months due to COVID-19 pandemic.
July 18, 2020– PCSO reverts to the original ticket prices of its all major lotto games. Ticket prices were previously increased to PhP 24 following the implementation of the TRAIN Law.
