Lotto 6/42 System Plays – How to Increase your Chances of Winning the Jackpot

You can increase your chances of winning the jackpot through 6/42 Lotto System Bets. This advanced option allows you to pick more than the usual six (6) numbers and produces numerous combinations of your chosen numbers.

The available system plays in 6/42 Lotto are System 5-Roll (System 5R), System 7, System 8, System 9, System 10, System 11 and System 12.

A total of seven (7) combinations are created in System 7 because a bettor who marks this option would have to pick seven (7) numbers. In System 8, on the other hand, 28 combinations are produced because the bettor will have to pick a total of eight (8) numbers out of the numbers 1 to 42.

In essence, more and more number combinations are generated as the picked numbers increase. This same rule applies to the rest of the remaining system bets.

In System 5R, a bettor marks only five (5) numbers and—for the sixth number—pairs these off with each of the remaining thirty-seven (37) numbers, producing a total of 37 six-number combinations.

Please note that the higher the number of combinations, the higher the total bet cost will be. The total ticket price is PhP 20 times the number of combinations produced.

Refer to the table below for more information on total ticket cost for each Lotto 6/42 system bet.
