Philippine Lotto 6/42 System Plays – How to Increase your Odds of Winning the Jackpot

6/42 Lotto System Bets allow players to pick more than the typical six (6) numbers per draw, thereby increasing their chances of winning the jackpot.

The available system bets in 6/42 Lotto are System 5-Roll (System 5R), System 7, System 8, System 9, System 10, System 11 and System 12.

With System 7, a player marks seven (7) numbers which creates a total of seven (7) combinations. In System 8, the player picks eight (8) numbers, producing a total of 28 combinations.

The overall number of combinations increases as the selected numbers increase. The same rule applies for System 9, System 10, System 11 and System 12.

In the case of System 5R, you only pick five (5) numbers and if your 5 numbers match the winning combination, you automatically win the jackpot. This is because in System 5-Roll, the 5 numbers you have selected are automatically partnered with each of the remaining 37 digits in the bet slip, producing a total of 37 combinations.

Please note that the higher the number of combinations, the higher the total ticket cost will be. The overall price of the ticket is PhP 20 multiplied by the number of combinations created.

Refer to the table below for more information on overall ticket cost for every PCSO Lotto 6/42 system play.
