PCSO Lotto 6/42 System Plays – Ways to Improve the Chances of Winning the Jackpot

6/42 Lotto System Bets allow players to pick more than the usual six (6) numbers per draw, thereby increasing their chances of winning the jackpot.

The available system bets in 6/42 Lotto are System 5-Roll (System 5R), System 7, System 8, System 9, System 10, System 11 and System 12.

A total of seven (7) combinations are generated in System 7 because a bettor who selects this option would have to pick seven (7) numbers. In System 8, on the other hand, 28 combinations are created because the player will have to mark a total of eight (8) numbers out of the numbers 1 to 42.

The overall number of combinations increases as the marked numbers increase. The same rule applies for System 9, System 10, System 11 and System 12.

With System 5R, the bettor will only need to pick five (5) numbers. The remaining (unmarked) 37 numbers will be combined with the 5 chosen numbers. This generates a total of 37 combinations.

Please note that your overall bet cost will be much higher in system bets due to the higher number of combinations you will place your bet on. The total price of the ticket shall be PhP 20 multiplied by the number of combinations created.

The following table indicates the number of combination as well as the corresponding ticket cost for every system bet.
