PCSO Lotto 6/42 System Bets – Learn How to Increase the Odds of Winning the Jackpot
6/42 Lotto System Bets allow players to pick more than the default six (6) numbers per draw, thereby increasing their chances of winning the jackpot.
The system bets available in 6/42 Lotto are System 7, System 8, System 9, System 10, System 11, System 12 and System 5-Roll (System 5R).
A total of seven (7) combinations are created in System 7 because a player who marks this option would need to select seven (7) numbers. In System 8, on the other hand, 28 combinations are generated because the player will have to mark a total of eight (8) numbers out of the numbers 1 to 42.
The more numbers selected, the higher the number of combinations generated. Same rule applies in System 9, System 10, System 11 and in System 12.
With System 5-Roll, the player will only need to select five (5) numbers. The remaining (unselected) 37 numbers will be combined with the 5 picked numbers. This generates a total of 37 combinations.
Note that your overall ticket cost will be much higher in system bets because of the higher number of combinations you will place your bet on. The overall cost of the ticket shall be PhP 20 times the number of combinations created.

You can increase your chances of winning the jackpot by choosing up to 12 numbers using a system bet. This type of bet produces a bigger number of combinations which ranges from 7 to 924 combinations.

What is DST?
DST or Documentary Stamp Tax is a 20% tax levied on lotto ticket prices by the government by virtue of the Tax Reform for Acceleration and Inclusion Law (TRAIN Law).
PCSO began adding 20% DST on the prices of its tickets when the law came into force in 2018. Consequently, 2D (EZ2), 3D (Swertres), 4D and 6D Lotto ticket prices rose from PhP 10 to PhP 12 while the 6/42, 6/45, 6/49, 6/55 and 6/42 Lotto tickets increased from PhP 20 to PhP 24.
On July 18, 2020, PCSO returned the price of its major lotto games to Php 20.
