In 6/42 Lotto, you win a prize by getting at least three (3) out of the six (6) winning numbers. More matching number means bigger prizes for you.
If you got three (3) out of six (6), you win PhP 20. Four (4) out of six (6) wins you a fixed prize equal to PhP 800 while five (5) out of six (6) gives you a prize worth PhP 24,000.
Getting all the numbers wins you the jackpot prize worth no less than PhP 5.94 Million.
You can increase your odds of winning by playing a system bet. With this option, you can mark up to 12 numbers per column in the play card, thus creating up to 924 number combinations.
There are seven system plays in all. These are the System 5R and System 7 up to System 12.
The cost of tickets in system plays depend on the overall number of combinations produced.

You can select more than 6 numbers by playing any of the system plays for Lotto 6/42. You can choose from System 7 (7 numbers), System 8 (8 numbers), System 9 (8 numbers), System 10 (10 numbers), System 11 (11 numbers) and System 12 (12 numbers).
You can also mark only 5 numbers using the System 5-Roll. Take note that the total number of combinations is considered when computing the total ticket cost.

System 8 is the Lotto 6/42 system play that lets bettors to select a total of eight (8) numbers instead of the default six (6) numbers. This play type produces 28 combinations in all and costs PhP 560 (Php 20 x 28 combinations).
To play System 8, just pick your preferred 8-number combination and then mark the number 8 in the SYS section of the 6/42 Lotto betting card.
What if I made a mistake in marking my 6/42 Lotto numbers?
To cancel or disregard a specific PCSO Lotto 6/42 entry, mark the VOID directly below it before submitting the bet card to the teller.
Please note that you can only void your Lotto 6/42 entry before purchasing the ticket. Any PCSO Lotto 6/42 entry that has been printed by the system can no longer be voided or canceled.
What does DST stand for?
DST or Documentary Stamp Tax is a 20% tax levied on lotto ticket prices by the government by virtue of the Tax Reform for Acceleration and Inclusion Law (TRAIN Act).
PCSO commenced adding 20% DST on the prices of its tickets when the law took effect in 2018. Consequently, 2D (EZ2), 3D (Swertres), 4D and 6D Lotto ticket prices increased from PhP 10 to PhP 12 while the 6/42, 6/45, 6/49, 6/55 and 6/42 Lotto tickets went up from PhP 20 to PhP 24.
On July 18, 2020, PCSO returned the price of its major lotto games to Php 20.

March 10, 2021– PCSO persuades everyone from buying lotto tickets from persons claiming to be part of a supposed PCSO ‘online’ betting platform. The agency states it does not have any such platform yet.
