Each Lotto 6/42 number combination costs PhP 20. If you played any of the System Bets, the total play amount would vary from PhP 140 to PhP 18,480, depending on the overall number of combinations generated. The ticket price includes a 20% Documentary Stamp Tax (DST).

You can increase your chances of winning the jackpot through 6/42 Lotto System Bets. This advanced option allows you to pick more than the usual six (6) numbers and produces several combinations of your chosen numbers.
These are the options available if you want to play system bets- System 7, System 8, System 9, System 10, System 11, System 12 and System 5-Roll (System 5R).
A total of seven (7) combinations are created in System 7 because a player who chooses this option would need to pick seven (7) numbers. In System 8, on the other hand, 28 combinations are produced because the bettor will have to choose a total of eight (8) numbers out of the numbers 1 to 42.
In essence, more and more number combinations are generated as the marked numbers increase. This same rule applies to the rest of the remaining system plays.
With regard to System 5R, you only pick five (5) numbers and if your 5 numbers match the winning combination, you automatically win the jackpot. This is because in System 5-Roll, the 5 numbers you have picked are automatically matched with each of the remaining 37 digits in the play slip, creating a total of 37 combinations.
Remember that your total ticket cost will be much higher in system plays because of the higher number of combinations you will bet on. The overall ticket cost shall be PhP 20 multiplied by the number of combinations produced.
