Lotto 6/42 System Plays – How to Increase the Odds of Winning

6/42 Lotto System Bets allow players to pick more than the typical six (6) numbers per draw, thereby increasing their chances of winning the jackpot.

These are the choices available in case you want to play system bets- System 7, System 8, System 9, System 10, System 11, System 12 and System 5-Roll (System 5R).

A total of seven (7) combinations are generated in System 7 because a player who selects this option would need to choose seven (7) numbers. In System 8, on the other hand, 28 combinations are generated because the bettor will have to mark a total of eight (8) numbers out of the numbers 1 to 42.

The overall number of combinations increases as the picked numbers increase. The same rule applies for System 9, System 10, System 11 and System 12.

With regard to System 5R, you only choose five (5) numbers and if your 5 numbers match the winning combination, you automatically win the jackpot. This is because in System 5R, the 5 numbers you have chosen are automatically combined with each of the remaining 37 digits in the play slip, generating a total of 37 six-number combinations.

Please remember that your overall bet cost will be much higher in system bets due to the higher number of combinations you will bet on. The total cost of the ticket shall be PhP 20 multiplied by the number of combinations produced.

The following table reflects the number of combination as well as the corresponding ticket cost for every system bet.
