- Choose your 6/42 number combination by marking six (6) out of numbers 1 to 42.
- Choose the Lucky Pick (LP) option if you have no combination in mind. This option allows the terminal to randomly pick the number combination for you.
- You can also raise your odds of winning through the 6/42 Lotto System Play. With this option, you can mark more than the usual six (6) numbers thus increasing your total number combinations.
- If you want to join multiple draws, select the number of succeeding draws in the Draw section.
- Pay the ticket price and get your generated ticket once done.
- After the draw, view the 6/42 Lotto Result to know if you won the prize.
One 6/42 Lotto number combination costs PhP 20, inclusive of 20% Documentary Stamp Tax (DST).
Make sure to sign the back of the the 6/42 Lotto ticket after placing your bet and to keep the ticket in a safe and dry place.
Your 6/42 Lotto ticket has to be machine-validated before you can claim your prize. Hence, do not tamper with, wet, fold or iron your ticket.
If the selected 6-number combination in your ticket matches the officially drawn 6-winning number combination you win the jackpot prize. However, if more than one player picks the same winning 6-number combination, the jackpot will be divided equally among the jackpot winners.

Amidst this pandemic, PCSO imposed the following guidelines in all lotto outlets in the country.
- Put on your face mask at all times. No Facemask-No Betting policy shall be applied in all PCSO outlets in the country.
- Observe social distancing at all times while in the outlet.
- Bring your own pen to reduce the risk of contracting the virus.
- Use the money tray to decrease contact.
- Use the alcohols, disinfectant or hand sanitizer provided before leaving the lotto outlet.
- Use the garbage cans provided to throw away used bet slips and/or old lotto tickets.
PCSO Lotto 6/42 System Plays – Ways to Increase the Chances of Winning the Jackpot
6/42 Lotto System Bets allow players to pick more than the usual six (6) numbers per draw, thereby increasing their chances of winning the jackpot.
The available system plays in 6/42 Lotto are System 5-Roll (System 5R), System 7, System 8, System 9, System 10, System 11 and System 12.
With System 7, a player picks seven (7) numbers which produces a total of seven (7) combinations. In System 8, the player selects eight (8) numbers, generating a total of 28 combinations.
The overall number of combinations increases as the selected numbers increase. The same rule applies for System 9, System 10, System 11 and System 12.
In the case of System 5R, the player will only have to pick five (5) numbers. The remaining (unselected) 37 numbers will be combined with the 5 selected numbers. This produces a total of 37 combinations.
Remember that your total bet cost will be much higher in system plays due to the higher number of combinations you will place your bet on. The total price of the ticket shall be PhP 20 times the number of combinations produced.

You can improve your odds of winning by opting for a system bet. With this option, you can mark up to 12 numbers per column in the play slip, thus producing up to 924 number combinations.

What is SYS 8 in Lotto 6/42?
System 8 is the Lotto 6/42 system bet that lets bettors to pick a total of eight (8) numbers instead of the regular six (6) numbers. This play type produces 28 combinations in all and costs PhP 560 (Php 20 x 28 combinations).

Does PCSO conduct draws during Christmas and New year?
PCSO most of the time cancels its lotto draws during regular holidays such as December 25 (Christmas), January 1 (New Year), Maundy Thursday, Good Friday, Black Saturday, and Easter Sunday. In other special holidays such as December 24 (Christmas Eve) and December 31 (New Year’s Eve), PCSO shortens its draw schedule in such a way that all draws are finished early in the day.
What is DST?
DST or Documentary Stamp Tax is a 20% tax levied on lotto ticket prices by the government by virtue of the Tax Reform for Acceleration and Inclusion Act (TRAIN Law).
PCSO started adding 20% DST on the prices of its tickets when the law took effect in 2018. Accordingly, 2D (EZ2), 3D (Swertres), 4D and 6D Lotto ticket prices rose from PhP 10 to PhP 12 while the 6/42, 6/45, 6/49, 6/55 and 6/42 Lotto tickets rose from PhP 20 to PhP 24.
On July 18, 2020, PCSO returned the price of its major lotto games to Php 20.

To claim 6/42 Lotto winnings below PhP 5,000, proceed to the authorized lotto outlet or PCSO branch and present your winning ticket.
Winnings above PhP 5,000 but not exceeding PhP 20,000 can be claimed at the nearest PCSO branch office.
