6/42 Lotto ticket costs PhP 20 per number combination. This amount already includes the 20% Documentary Stamp Tax (DST).
Once done placing your bet, affix your signature at the back of the 6/42 Lotto ticket. Store it in a safe and dry place.
Do not soak in water, iron, fold or write anything on your PCSO Lotto 6/42 ticket except the portion designated for your signature. Tickets have to be machine-validated when claiming prizes.

Lotto 6/42 System Plays – Ways to Improve the Odds of Winning
6/42 Lotto System Bets allow players to pick more than the typical six (6) numbers per draw, thereby increasing their chances of winning the jackpot.
In case you want to play system bets, these are the options you can select from- System 5-Roll (System 5R), System 7, System 8, System 9, System 10, System 11 and System 12.
In System 7, a player selects seven (7) numbers which produces a total of seven (7) combinations. With System 8, on the other hand, the player selects a total of eight (8) numbers creating a total of 28 combinations.
The more numbers picked, the higher the number of combinations created. Same rule applies in System 9, System 10, System 11 and in System 12.
With System 5R, you only pick five (5) numbers and if your 5 numbers match the winning combination, you automatically win the jackpot. This is because in System 5R, the 5 numbers you have picked are automatically partnered with each of the remaining 37 digits in the playing card, generating a total of 37 six-number combinations.
Keep in mind that the higher the number of combinations, the higher the overall bet cost will be. The overall ticket price is PhP 20 multiplied by the number of combinations produced.

You win a prize by getting at least three (3) numbers of the winning Lotto 6/42 combination. The more matching numbers, the bigger the prizes you will win.
Matching three (3) of the winning number combination wins you PhP 20, four (4) matching numbers wins you a prize equal to PhP 800 while five (5) numbers gives you a fixed amount equal to PhP 24,000.
Matching all the numbers wins you the jackpot prize worth at least PhP 5.9 Million.
You can improve your odds of winning by playing a system bet. With this option, you can mark up to 12 numbers per column in the play slip, thereby creating up to 924 combinations.
You can select from seven available system plays. These are the System 5R and System 7 up to System 12.

How many combinations are there in System 8 for 6/42 Lotto?
System 8 is the Philippine Lotto 6/42 system bet that allows bettors to select a total of eight (8) numbers instead of the usual six (6) numbers. This play type creates 28 combinations in all and costs PhP 560 (Php 20 x 28 combinations).
To play System 8, just choose your preferred 8-number combination and then mark the number 8 in the SYS panel of the 6/42 Lotto play card.
What does DST stand for?
DST or Documentary Stamp Tax is a 20% tax imposed on lotto ticket prices by the government by virtue of the Tax Reform for Acceleration and Inclusion Act (TRAIN Law).
PCSO commenced adding 20% DST on the prices of its tickets when the law came into force in 2018. As a result, 2D (EZ2), 3D (Swertres), 4D and 6D Lotto ticket prices rose from PhP 10 to PhP 12 while the 6/42, 6/45, 6/49, 6/55 and 6/42 Lotto tickets went up from PhP 20 to PhP 24.
On July 18, 2020, PCSO reverted the price of its major lotto games to Php 20.
How to Play System 9 in 6/42 Lotto?
System 9 allows you to select a nine (9) number combination instead of the usual combination composed of six (6) numbers. This type of Lotto 6/42 system play produces a total of 84 combinations and costs PhP 1,680 (Php 20 x 84 combinations).
To play System 9, just choose your preferred 9-number combination and then mark the number 9 in the SYS column of the 6/42 Lotto play card.
Can I play the same 6/42 Lotto combination in advance?
You can play up to 5 draws in advance or a total of 6 draws including the current draw. To play in advance, just select your desired number of advanced plays in the DRAW section of the bet card. Your PCSO Lotto 6/42 entry will then be played multiple times according to the number of draws you selected.
For example, if you selected 6 Draws, your chosen Lotto 6/42 combination will be valid for the six (6) consecutive Lotto 6/42 draws including the current draw.
Can I cancel or refund the PCSO Lotto 6/42 ticket I already paid?
You cannot cancel, void or refund your PCSO Lotto 6/42 ticket once it is processed by the computer. Bettors have the sole duty of checking the accuracy of the data printed on the Lotto 6/42 ticket including the number combination, bet type and amount of bet.
Thus, you need to verify all the numbers and options you marked before you submit the bet slip to the cashier.
