PCSO uses a prize structure for 6/42 Lotto based on ‘pari mutuel’ system. Parimutuel works by pooling all lottery bets in a given draw, then split the pool by the total number of winners.

Philippine Lotto 6/42 System Plays – Ways to Increase your Odds of Winning the Jackpot
You can improve your chances of winning the jackpot through 6/42 Lotto System Bets. This advanced option allows you to pick more than the usual six (6) numbers and produces several combinations of your chosen numbers.
These are the choices available if you want to play system bets- System 7, System 8, System 9, System 10, System 11, System 12 and System 5-Roll (System 5R).
With System 7, a player chooses seven (7) numbers which produces a total of seven (7) combinations. In System 8, the bettor picks eight (8) numbers, generating a total of 28 combinations.
The overall number of combinations increases as the selected numbers increase. The same rule applies for System 9, System 10, System 11 and System 12.
In the case of System 5R, the bettor will only need to pick five (5) numbers. The remaining (unselected) 37 numbers will be matched with the 5 chosen numbers. This creates a total of 37 combinations.
Please remember that the higher the number of combinations, the higher the total bet cost will be. The overall cost of the ticket is PhP 20 times the number of combinations generated.

You win a prize in PCSO Lotto 6/42 by getting at least three (3) winning numbers in any order. Bigger prizes awaits those who will match four (4), five (5) or six (6) winning numbers.
Getting three (3) of the winning number combination wins you PhP 20, four (4) matching numbers wins you a prize in the amount of PhP 800 while five (5) numbers gives you a fixed amount equal to PhP 24,000.
If you match all the winning numbers, you win the jackpot prize which starts at PhP 5.9 Million.
Increase your chances of winning using a system bet. This option allows you to select up to 12 numbers instead of just 6, thereby generating a larger number of combinations.

March 10, 2021– PCSO warns the betting public against purchasing lotto tickets from alleged PCSO employees through a supposed ‘online’ betting platform. The agency confirms it has no such system yet in place that will support such transactions.
January 6, 2021– PCSO resumes its 6-Digit and 4-Digit Lotto draws.
July 20, 2020– PCSO resumes its lotto operations on August 4, 2020 after suspending it for seveal months due to COVID-19 pandemic.
