Lotto 6/42 System Bets – Ways to Increase the Chances of Winning the Jackpot
You can improve your chances of winning the jackpot through 6/42 Lotto System Bets. This advanced option allows you to pick more than the usual six (6) numbers and generates several combinations of your chosen numbers.
The system bets available in 6/42 Lotto are System 7, System 8, System 9, System 10, System 11, System 12 and System 5-Roll (System 5R).
With System 7, a player picks seven (7) numbers which creates a total of seven (7) combinations. In System 8, the player picks eight (8) numbers, generating a total of 28 combinations.
The overall number of combinations increases as the selected numbers increase. The same rule applies for System 9, System 10, System 11 and System 12.
In System 5-Roll, you only need to choose five (5) numbers instead of the usual six-number combination. The remaining unselected numbers in the bet card (37 in all) will be matched with the 5 numbers you selected, thus generating 37 combinations in total.

How can I win prizes in PCSO Lotto 6/42?
In PCSO Lotto 6/42, you win a prize by matching at least three (3) out of the six (6) drawn numbers. More matching number means higher prizes for you.
If you got three (3) out of six (6), you receive PhP 20. Four (4) out of six (6) wins you a fixed prize equal to PhP 800 while five (5) out of six (6) gives you a prize in the amount of PhP 24,000.
If you got all the six (6) numbers correctly, you take home the jackpot prize of at least PhP 5.9 Million.
You can increase your odds of hitting the jackpot by choosing up to 12 numbers using a system play. This type of bet creates a larger number of combinations which ranges from 7 to 924 combinations.
There are seven system plays in all. These are the System 5R and System 7 up to System 12.
Ticket price is PhP 20 multiplied by the overall number of produced combinations.

What is DST?
DST or Documentary Stamp Tax is a 20% tax imposed on lotto ticket prices by the government by virtue of the Tax Reform for Acceleration and Inclusion Law (TRAIN Act).
PCSO commenced adding 20% DST on the prices of its tickets when the law came into force in 2018. Thus, 2D (EZ2), 3D (Swertres), 4D and 6D Lotto ticket prices rose from PhP 10 to PhP 12 while the 6/42, 6/45, 6/49, 6/55 and 6/42 Lotto tickets rose from PhP 20 to PhP 24.
On July 18, 2020, PCSO reverted the price of its major lotto games to Php 20.
How much does a Lotto System 5-Roll ticket cost?
System 5R (5-Roll) is the PCSO Lotto 6/42 system play which lets you select only five (5) numbers instead of the usual 6 number combination.
To complete the combination, the system automatically combines each of the remaining 37 “unmarked” numbers in the playing card to the five numbers you already picked.
This produces a total of 37 combinations and ensures that you will get at least one (1) winning number in your combinations.
System 5R costs Php 740 (Php 20 x 37).
To play System 5-Roll, simply select your preferred 5-number combination and then mark 5R in the SYS section of the 6/42 Lotto play slip.
How do I Play PCSO Lotto 6/42 System 8?
System 8 is the Philippine Lotto 6/42 system play that lets players to pick a total of eight (8) numbers instead of the regular six (6) numbers. This play type produces 28 combinations in all and costs PhP 560 (Php 20 x 28 combinations).
To play System 8, just choose your preferred 8-number combination and then mark the number 8 in the SYS section of the 6/42 Lotto betting card.

PCSO Updates and Official Announcements
March 10, 2021– PCSO alerts the public against purchasing tickets from alleged PCSO employees through a supposed ‘online’ betting system. PCSO states it has no such system yet in place that will cater to such transactions.
January 6, 2021– PCSO 6-Digit and 4-Digit Lotto draws have resumed.
July 20, 2020– PCSO annouced the resumption of its lotto operations on August 4, 2020 after months-long suspension due to COVID-19 pandemic.
July 18, 2020– PCSO reverts to the original ticket prices of its all major lotto games. Ticket prices were previously increased to PhP 24 following the implementation of the TRAIN Law.
