PCSO Lotto 6/42 System Plays – How to Improve your Odds of Winning

You can increase your chances of winning the jackpot through 6/42 Lotto System Bets. This advanced option allows you to pick more than the usual six (6) numbers and creates numerous combinations of your chosen numbers.

The available system bets in 6/42 Lotto are System 5-Roll (System 5R), System 7, System 8, System 9, System 10, System 11 and System 12.

A total of seven (7) combinations are generated in System 7 because a bettor who marks this option would need to choose seven (7) numbers. In System 8, on the other hand, 28 combinations are created because the bettor will need to pick a total of eight (8) numbers out of the numbers 1 to 42.

The more numbers chosen, the higher the number of combinations generated. Same rule applies in System 9, System 10, System 11 and in System 12.

In the case of System 5R, you only choose five (5) numbers and if your 5 numbers match the winning combination, you automatically win the jackpot. This is because in System 5R, the 5 numbers you have marked are automatically matched with each of the remaining 37 digits in the play slip, generating a total of 37 combinations.

Please note that the higher the number of combinations, the higher the overall bet cost will be. The total ticket cost is PhP 20 times the number of combinations generated.

The following table shows the number of combination as well as the corresponding ticket cost for every system play.
