PCSO uses a prize system for Megalotto 6/45 based on ‘pari mutuel’ system. Parimutuel works by pooling all lottery bets in a given draw, then split the pool by the total number of winners.

Mega Lotto System Plays – Learn How to Improve your Odds of Winning the Jackpot
You can improve your chances of winning the jackpot through 6/45 Lotto System Bets. This advanced option allows you to pick more than the usual six (6) numbers and produces numerous combinations of your chosen numbers.
The available system bets in 6/45 Lotto are System 5-Roll (System 5R), System 7, System 8, System 9, System 10, System 11 and System 12.
A total of seven (7) combinations are created in System 7 because a bettor who marks this option would have to mark seven (7) numbers. In System 8, on the other hand, 28 combinations are generated because the player will need to choose a total of eight (8) numbers out of the numbers 1 to 45.
The more numbers picked, the higher the number of combinations produced. Same rule applies in System 9, System 10, System 11 and in System 12.
In the case of System 5R, you only have to choose five (5) numbers instead of the typical six-number combination. The remaining unselected numbers in the board (40 in all) will be combined with the 5 numbers you marked, thus generating 40 combinations in total.

How do I win a prize in 6/45 Mega Lotto?
You win a prize in 6/45 Mega Lotto by getting at least three (3) drawn numbers in any order. Higher prizes awaits those who will match four (4), five (5) or six (6) winning numbers.
If you match three (3) out of six (6), you win PhP 30. Four (4) out of six (6) gives you a fixed amount equal to PhP 1,000 while five (5) out of six (6) gives you a prize in the amount of PhP 32,000.
If you got all the six (6) winning numbers correctly, you receive the jackpot prize of no less than PhP 8.9 Million.
You can increase your odds of hitting the jackpot by picking up to 12 numbers using a system bet. This type of bet produces a higher number of combinations which ranges from 7 to 924 combinations.
There are seven system plays in all. These are the System 5-Roll and System 7 up to System 12.
Ticket price shall depend on the total number of created combinations.

What is the price of an Mega Lotto 6/45 ticket?
A bettor can buy the Mega Lotto 6/45 ticket for 20 Pesos per combination at the nearest authorized PCSO lotto outlet. This amount is inclusive of the Documentary Stamp Tax (DST).
Can I play the same 6/45 Mega Lotto combination in advance?
You can play up to 5 draws in advance or a total of 6 draws including the current draw. To play in advance, just pick your desired number of advanced plays in the DRAW section of the betting card. Your 6/45 Megalotto combination will then be played repeatedly based on the number of draws you selected.
For example, if you selected 6 Draws, your chosen Megalotto 6/45 entry shall be valid for the six (6) consecutive Mega Lotto draws including the present draw.
What is SYS 5-Roll in Lotto 6/45?
System 5R (5-Roll) is the 6/45 Mega Lotto system bet that allows you select only five (5) numbers instead of the regular 6 number combination.
To complete the combination, the system automatically pairs each of the remaining 40 “unselected” numbers in the play card to the five numbers you already picked.
This produces a total of 40 combinations and ensures that you will get at least one (1) winning number in your combinations.
