PCSO uses a prize structure for 6/45 Megalotto based on ‘pari mutuel’ betting system. Parimutuel works by pooling all lotto bets in a given draw, then dividing the pool by the total number of winners.
The following is the latest prize range of the Mega Lotto 6/45:
- In case you matched six (6) numbers of the winning number combination in any order, you take home the latest jackpot prize for Mega Lotto. Its initial jackpot begins at PhP 8,910,000.
- In case you matched five (5) of the six (6) drawn numbers, you get the second prize worth PhP 32,000.
- If you matched four (4) numbers of the winning number combination, you win a fixed amount of PhP 1,000.
- Getting three (3) out of the six (6) numbers drawn gives you PhP 30.

- For Advance Plays, select the number of succeeding draws in the Draw panel.
- Pay the ticket price and get your generated ticket once done.
- See the 6/45 Lotto Result after the 9 PM live draw to see if your ticket matches the winning number combination.
Mega Lotto 6/45 ticket costs PhP 20 per number combination. This amount already includes the 20% Documentary Stamp Tax (DST).
Once done placing your bet, affix your signature at the back of your 6/45 Megalotto ticket. Store it in a secure and dry place.

Mega Lotto 6/45 System Bets – Ways to Improve the Odds of Winning the Jackpot
You can improve your chances of winning the jackpot through 6/45 Lotto System Bets. This advanced option allows you to pick more than the usual six (6) numbers and generates multiple combinations of your chosen numbers.
The available system bets in 6/45 Lotto are System 5-Roll (System 5R), System 7, System 8, System 9, System 10, System 11 and System 12.
In System 7, a player picks seven (7) numbers which produces a total of seven (7) combinations. With System 8, on the other hand, the player marks a total of eight (8) numbers generating a total of 28 combinations.
The more numbers selected, the higher the number of combinations generated. Same rule applies in System 9, System 10, System 11 and in System 12.
In the case of System 5-Roll, the bettor picks five (5) numbers instead of six. These 5 numbers are automatically matched with the remaining forty (40) numbers, creating 40 six-number combinations in total.
Keep in mind that your total ticket cost will be much higher in system bets due to the higher number of combinations you will place your bet on. The overall cost of the ticket shall be PhP 20 times the number of combinations produced.

You win a prize in Mega Lotto by getting at least three (3) winning numbers in any order. Bigger prizes awaits those who will match four (4), five (5) or six (6) winning numbers.
Getting three (3) of the winning number combination gives you PhP 30, four (4) matching numbers gives you a prize in the amount of PhP 1,000 while five (5) numbers gives you a fixed amount equal to PhP 32,000.
If you got all the six (6) numbers correctly, you receive the jackpot prize of no less than PhP 8.91 Million.
You can increase your odds of hitting the jackpot by picking up to 12 numbers using a system play. This type of bet creates a bigger number of combinations which ranges from 7 to 924 combinations.
The system plays you can choose from are the System 5-Roll and System 7 up to System 12.
The cost of tickets in system plays depend on the overall number of combinations created.

What does DST stand for?
DST or Documentary Stamp Tax is a 20% tax imposed on lotto ticket prices by the government by virtue of the Tax Reform for Acceleration and Inclusion Act (TRAIN Law).
PCSO began adding 20% DST on the prices of its tickets when the law took effect in 2018. Consequently, 2D (EZ2), 3D (Swertres), 4D and 6D Lotto ticket prices went up from PhP 10 to PhP 12 while the 6/42, 6/45, 6/49, 6/55 and 6/45 Lotto tickets increased from PhP 20 to PhP 24.
On July 18, 2020, PCSO returned the price of its major lotto games to Php 20.
How much does a Megalotto System 7 ticket cost?
System 7 lets you to pick a seven (7) number combination instead of the default combination composed of six (6) numbers. This type of Lotto 6/45 system bet generates a total of seven combinations and costs PhP 140 (Php 20 x 7 combinations).
To play System 7, simply pick your preferred 7-number combination and then mark the number 7 in the SYS column of the 6/45 Lotto bet card.
