Before you go any further, keep in mind that PCSO only allows persons 18 years old and above to play.
Here’s the step-by-step instructions for playing this popular parimutuel game:
- Go to any lottery agent authorized by PCSO and get the Mega Lotto 6/45 play card.
- Choose six (6) numbers between 1 to 45. These numbers will be your 6/45 Lotto combination.
- If you can’t think of any number combination, mark the Lucky Pick (LP) to have the system randomly pick the number combination for you.
- Optionally mark one of the options under the 6/45 Lotto System Play. With this option, you can mark more than the regular six number combination.

Mega Lotto 6/45 ticket costs PhP 20 per number combination. This amount already includes the 20% Documentary Stamp Tax (DST).

Amidst this pandemic, PCSO imposed the following regulations in all lotto outlets in the country.
- Put on your face mask at all times. No Facemask-No Betting system shall be implemented in all PCSO outlets nationwide.
- Always observe one (1) meter physical distance from each other.
- Bring your own ball pen.
- Use the tray provided when handing out your bet card and payment.
- Sanitize your hands before and after betting. Alcohol or hand sanitizers are available in the betting area.
- Avoid littering and throw away any used play card or non-winning tickets in the trash cans.
Megalotto System Plays – How to Improve your Odds of Winning
You can improve your chances of winning the jackpot through 6/45 Lotto System Bets. This advanced option allows you to pick more than the usual six (6) numbers and produces several combinations of your chosen numbers.
In case you want to try system bets, these are the options you can select from- System 5-Roll (System 5R), System 7, System 8, System 9, System 10, System 11 and System 12.
In System 7, a player selects seven (7) numbers which creates a total of seven (7) combinations. With System 8, on the other hand, the bettor selects a total of eight (8) numbers creating a total of 28 combinations.
To sum up, more and more number combinations are generated as the picked numbers increase. This same rule applies to the rest of the remaining system plays.
In System 5-Roll, the bettor will only need to pick five (5) numbers. The remaining (unmarked) 40 numbers will be combined with the 5 marked numbers. This produces a total of 40 combinations.

How can I win prizes in Mega Lotto 6/45?
You win a prize in 6/45 Mega Lotto by getting at least three (3) winning numbers in any order. Bigger prizes awaits those who will match four (4), five (5) or six (6) winning numbers.
If you got three (3) out of six (6), you win PhP 30. Four (4) out of six (6) gives you a prize equal to PhP 1,000 while five (5) out of six (6) gives you a prize in the amount of PhP 32,000.
Getting all the winning numbers wins you the jackpot prize worth no less than PhP 8.91 Million.
Increase your chances of winning using a system bet. This option allows you to select up to 12 numbers instead of just 6, thus creating a larger number of combinations.

How do I void an entry in the Lotto 6/45 play slip?
To cancel or disregard a specific Mega Lotto entry, mark the VOID directly below it before submitting the bet slip to the teller.
Please note that you can only void your Mega Lotto 6/45 number combination before purchasing the ticket. Any 6/45 Megalotto entry that has been processed by the computer can no longer be canceled or voided.
What is DST?
DST or Documentary Stamp Tax is a 20% tax levied on lotto ticket prices by the government by virtue of the Tax Reform for Acceleration and Inclusion Law (TRAIN Law).
PCSO commenced adding 20% DST on the prices of its tickets when the law came into force in 2018. Accordingly, 2D (EZ2), 3D (Swertres), 4D and 6D Lotto ticket prices increased from PhP 10 to PhP 12 while the 6/42, 6/45, 6/49, 6/55 and 6/45 Lotto tickets rose from PhP 20 to PhP 24.
On July 18, 2020, PCSO returned the price of its major lotto games to Php 20.
Can I play Mega Lotto 6/45 in Advance?
You can play up to 5 draws in advance or a total of 6 draws including the current draw. To play in advance, just select your preferred number of advanced plays in the DRAW section of the playing card. Your 6/45 Lotto combination will then be played repeatedly based on the number of draws you chose.
For example, if you selected 6 Draws, your chosen Megalotto combination shall be valid for the six (6) consecutive 6/45 Megalotto draws including the present draw.
How much does a Megalotto System 10 ticket cost?
System 10 is the Megalotto 6/45 system play that allows bettors to pick a total of ten (10) numbers instead of the default six (6) numbers. This play type produces 210 combinations in all and costs PhP 4,200 (Php 20 x 210 combinations).
To play System 10, just select your preferred 10-number combination and then mark the number 10 in the SYS section of the 6/45 Lotto play card.
Who are allowed to play Lotto 6/45?
PCSO only allows persons aged 18 and above to play the Megalotto. Aside from the age requirement, some restrictions such as the No Mask-No Betting system are also in place because of the on-going COVID-19 epidemic.

March 10, 2021– PCSO persuades everyone from buying tickets from entities claiming to be part of a supposed PCSO ‘online’ betting system. The agency states it does not have any such platform yet.
January 6, 2021– PCSO 6D and 4D Lotto draws have resumed.
July 20, 2020– PCSO annouced the resumption of its lotto operations starting August 4, 2020 after months-long suspension due to COVID-19 pandemic.
