Prizes in 6/45 Lotto are split proportionately to the winners of each prize tier. This is the reason why the minor prizes are most of the time lower than the standard amount.

Amidst this pandemic, PCSO imposed the following rules in all lotto outlets nationwide.
- Always wear your face mask. Bettors with no face mask will not be permitted to buy 6/45 Lotto tickets.
- Observe physical distancing at all times while in the outlet.
- Bring your own ball pen to reduce the risk of getting infected with the virus.
- Put the play slips and money in the tray provided by the outlet to eliminate physical contact.
- Use alcohols or disinfectants before you leave the lotto outlet.
- Put away your used bet card and old tickets into the garbage can.
6/45 Megalotto System Plays – Ways to Improve your Odds of Winning the Jackpot
You can improve your chances of winning the jackpot through 6/45 Lotto System Bets. This advanced option allows you to pick more than the usual six (6) numbers and creates numerous combinations of your chosen numbers.
The available system bets in 6/45 Lotto are System 5-Roll (System 5R), System 7, System 8, System 9, System 10, System 11 and System 12.
A total of seven (7) combinations are generated in System 7 because a bettor who selects this option would need to select seven (7) numbers. In System 8, on the other hand, 28 combinations are created because the bettor will need to choose a total of eight (8) numbers out of the numbers 1 to 45.
To sum up, more and more number combinations are created as the picked numbers increase. This same rule applies to the rest of the remaining system plays.

Getting three (3) of the winning combination wins you PhP 30, four (4) matching numbers gives you a prize equal to PhP 1,000 while five (5) numbers wins you a prize equal to PhP 32,000.
Matching all the numbers wins you the jackpot prize worth no less than PhP 8.91 Million.
Increase your chances of winning using a system bet. This option allows you to mark up to 12 numbers rather than just 6, thereby producing a bigger number of combinations.

What is DST?
DST or Documentary Stamp Tax is a 20% tax imposed on lotto ticket prices by the government by virtue of the Tax Reform for Acceleration and Inclusion Law (TRAIN Law).
PCSO began adding 20% DST on the prices of its tickets when the law came into force in 2018. Accordingly, 2D (EZ2), 3D (Swertres), 4D and 6D Lotto ticket prices rose from PhP 10 to PhP 12 while the 6/42, 6/45, 6/49, 6/55 and 6/45 Lotto tickets increased from PhP 20 to PhP 24.
On July 18, 2020, PCSO returned the price of its major lotto games to Php 20.
Will there be any lotto draw during Holy Week?
PCSO usually suspends its lotto draws during regular holidays such as December 25 (Christmas), January 1 (New Year), Maundy Thursday, Good Friday, Black Saturday, and Easter Sunday. In other special holidays such as December 24 (Christmas Eve) and December 31 (New Year’s Eve), PCSO shortens its draw schedule in such a way that all draws are completed early in the afternoon.

March 10, 2021– PCSO persuades everyone from buying lotto tickets from entities claiming to be part of a alleged PCSO ‘online’ betting system. The agency states it does not have any such system yet.
January 6, 2021– PCSO 6D and 4D Lotto draws have resumed.
July 20, 2020– PCSO annouced the resumption of its lotto operations on August 4, 2020 after months-long suspension due to COVID-19 pandemic.
July 18, 2020– PCSO reverts to the original ticket prices of its all major lotto games. Ticket prices were previously increased to PhP 24 following the implementation of the TRAIN Act.
