PCSO employs a payout structure for Mega Lotto based on ‘pari mutuel’ wagering system. Parimutuel works by pooling all lotto bets in a certain draw, then dividing the pool by the total number of winners.
The following are the updated prizes for Megalotto 6/45 according to the PCSO:
- If your combination matches six (6) out of the six (6) numbers drawn in any order, you take home the jackpot prize for the Mega Lotto 6/45 game. Initial jackpot is PhP 8,910,000 but this amount grows higher every time nobody gets the jackpot.
- Getting five (5) out of the six (6) winning numbers gives you a prize in the amount of PhP 32,000.
- If you got four (4) numbers of the winning combination, you win a prize of PhP 1,000.

- Pick a combination of six (6) numbers from one (1) to Forty-Five (45) in each column of the play slip.
- If you cannot think of any number combination, mark Lucky Pick (LP) to have the terminal select the number combination for you.
- Optionally select one of the options under the 6/45 Lotto System Play. With this option, you can mark more than the regular six number combination.
- If you want to join multiple draws, mark the number of succeeding draws in the Draw panel.
- Hand over your play card and payment to the teller and get your generated ticket once printed.
- See the 6/45 Lotto Result right after the live draw to verify if you won a prize.
6/45 Lotto ticket costs PhP 20 per number combination. This amount is inclusive of 20% Documentary Stamp Tax (DST).
Make sure to sign the back portion of the the 6/45 Megalotto ticket after placing your bet and to store the ticket in a safe and dry place.
Your Mega Lotto 6/45 ticket needs to be validated by the machine before you can claim your prize. Hence, do not iron, fold, wet or tamper with your ticket.

6/45 Mega Lotto System Plays – Learn How to Increase your Chances of Winning the Jackpot
6/45 Lotto System Bets allow players to pick more than the typical six (6) numbers per draw, thereby increasing their chances of winning the jackpot.
In case you want to try system bets, these are the options you can choose from- System 5-Roll (System 5R), System 7, System 8, System 9, System 10, System 11 and System 12.
With System 7, a bettor selects seven (7) numbers which produces a total of seven (7) combinations. In System 8, the player chooses eight (8) numbers, producing a total of 28 combinations.
In essence, more and more number combinations are generated as the selected numbers increase. This same rule applies to the rest of the remaining system bets.
With regard to System 5-Roll, you only pick five (5) numbers and if your 5 numbers match the winning combination, you automatically win the jackpot. This is because in System 5R, the 5 numbers you have picked are automatically paired with each of the remaining 40 digits in the bet card, generating a total of 40 combinations.
Note that the higher the number of combinations, the higher the total ticket cost will be. The total ticket price is PhP 20 times the number of combinations created.

In Mega Lotto 6/45, you win a prize by getting at least three (3) out of the six (6) numbers drawn. More matching number means bigger prizes for you.
If you got three (3) out of six (6), you receive PhP 30. Four (4) out of six (6) gives you a prize equal to PhP 1,000 while five (5) out of six (6) gives you a prize worth PhP 32,000.
If you got all the numbers, you get the jackpot prize which begins at PhP 8.91 Million.
Increase your chances of winning using a system bet. This option allows you to pick up to 12 numbers instead of just 6, thereby generating a larger number of combinations.
You can select from seven available system plays. These are the System 5R and System 7 up to System 12.
Ticket cost is PhP 20 times the total number of produced combinations.

Will there be any lotto draw during Holy Week?
PCSO regularly suspends its lotto draws during regular holidays such as December 25 (Christmas), January 1 (New Year), Maundy Thursday, Good Friday, Black Saturday, and Easter Sunday. In other special holidays such as December 24 (Christmas Eve) and December 31 (New Year’s Eve), PCSO adjusts its draw schedule in such a way that all draws are completed early in the day.
How much does a Megalotto System 7 ticket cost?
System 7 allows you to choose a seven (7) number combination instead of the typical combination composed of six (6) numbers. This type of Megalotto 6/45 system bet creates a total of seven combinations and costs PhP 140 (Php 20 x 7 combinations).
To play System 7, just pick your preferred 7-number combination and then mark the number 7 in the SYS panel of the 6/45 Lotto play card.

What does DST stand for?
DST or Documentary Stamp Tax is a 20% tax imposed on lotto ticket prices by the government by virtue of the Tax Reform for Acceleration and Inclusion Act (TRAIN Law).
PCSO commenced adding 20% DST on the prices of its tickets when the law took effect in 2018. Consequently, 2D (EZ2), 3D (Swertres), 4D and 6D Lotto ticket prices rose from PhP 10 to PhP 12 while the 6/42, 6/45, 6/49, 6/55 and 6/45 Lotto tickets increased from PhP 20 to PhP 24.
On July 18, 2020, PCSO reverted the price of its major lotto games to Php 20.

March 10, 2021– PCSO reminds the betting public to not to patronize persons and entities claiming to be part of PCSO and enticing them to buy tickets online using their platform. To date, the agency has no online betting platform yet whether through an app, text or calls.
January 6, 2021– PCSO resumes its 6-Digit and 4-Digit Lotto draws.
July 20, 2020– PCSO resumes its lotto operations on August 4, 2020 after suspending it for seveal months due to COVID-19 pandemic.
July 18, 2020– PCSO reverts to the original ticket prices of its all major lotto games. Ticket prices were previously increased to PhP 24 following the implementation of the TRAIN Act.
