PCSO employs a prize structure for 6/45 Lotto based on ‘pari mutuel’ wagering system. Parimutuel works by pooling all lotto bets in a certain draw, then dividing the pool by the total number of winners.

The following is the prize tiers of the Megalotto:

• Jackpot prize awaits those who will get six (6) out of the six (6) number drawn in any order. Jackpot prize begins at PhP 8,910,000.
• If your number matches five (5) out of the six (6) drawn numbers, you get the fixed prize worth PhP 32,000.
• If your number matches four (4) out of the six (6) winning numbers, you take home a prize of PhP 1,000.

These are the complete steps when playing Mega Lotto 6/45:

1. Go to an authorized PCSO lottery outlet and get the Mega Lotto 6/45 betting card.
2. Select a set of six (6) numbers from one (1) to Forty-Five (45) in each column of the playing card.
3. If you cannot think of any number combination, choose the Lucky Pick (LP) to let the system automatically pick the numbers for you.
4. Optionally mark one of the options in the 6/45 Lotto System Play. With this option, you can mark more than the usual six number combination.
5. For multiple draws, choose the number of succeeding draws you want to join in the Draw section.
6. Pay the ticket price and get your generated ticket once done.
7. View the 6/45 Lotto Result right after the scheduled draw to see if you won a prize.

One 6/45 Mega Lotto number combination costs PhP 20, inclusive of 20% Documentary Stamp Tax (DST).

After placing your bet, sign the back portion of your 6/45 Mega Lotto ticket and keep it in safe and dry place.

2. Follow physical distancing at all times while in the lotto outlet.
3. Use your own ball pen to decrease the risk of contracting the virus.
4. Use the money tray to reduce physical contact.
5. Sanitize your hands before and after betting. Hand sanitizers or alcohols are available in the betting area.

Lotto 6/45 System Plays – Ways to Improve the Chances of Winning the Jackpot

You can increase your chances of winning the jackpot through 6/45 Lotto System Bets. This advanced option allows you to pick more than the usual six (6) numbers and produces several combinations of your chosen numbers.

These are the choices available in case you want to play system bets- System 7, System 8, System 9, System 10, System 11, System 12 and System 5-Roll (System 5R).

A total of seven (7) combinations are produced in System 7 because a bettor who picks this option would need to select seven (7) numbers. In System 8, on the other hand, 28 combinations are created because the bettor will have to choose a total of eight (8) numbers out of the numbers 1 to 45.

In essence, more and more number combinations are produced as the choosen numbers increase. This same rule applies to the rest of the remaining system plays.

With System 5-Roll, you only choose five (5) numbers and if your 5 numbers match the winning combination, you automatically win the jackpot. What are the ways to win in 6/45 Lotto?

You win a prize by getting at least three (3) numbers of the drawn 6/45 Mega Lotto number combination. The more matching numbers, the bigger the prizes you will win.

If you match three (3) out of six (6), you win PhP 30. Four (4) out of six (6) gives you a fixed amount equal to PhP 1,000 while five (5) out of six (6) gives you a prize worth PhP 32,000.

Getting all the numbers gives you the jackpot prize worth at least PhP 8.9 Million.

Increase your chances of winning using a system bet. This option allows you to select up to 12 numbers instead of just 6, thereby creating a larger number of combinations.

You can select from seven available system plays. These are the System 5-Roll and System 7 up to System 12.

Ticket price shall depend on the total number of produced combinations.

Is it possible to select more than 6 numbers in Mega Lotto 6/45?

You can select more than 6 numbers by playing any of the system plays for 6/45 Lotto. You can choose from System 7 (7 numbers), System 8 (8 numbers), System 9 (8 numbers), System 10 (10 numbers), System 11 (11 numbers) and System 12 (12 numbers).

You can also choose only 5 numbers using the System 5-Roll. Please remember that the total number of combinations is considered when computing the total ticket cost.

For instance, a System 7 play costs PhP 140 because it creates 7 combinations in all.

What is SYS 5-Roll in Lotto 6/45?

System 5R (5-Roll) is the 6/45 Mega Lotto system play that lets you select only five (5) numbers instead of the regular 6 number combination.

To complete the combination, the computer automatically pairs each of the remaining 40 “unselected” numbers in the betting card to the five numbers you already chosen.

This produces a total of 40 combinations and ensures that you will get at least one (1) winning number in your combinations.

System 5R costs Php 800 (Php 20 x 40).

To play System 5R, simply pick your preferred 5-number combination and then mark 5R in the SYS column of the 6/45 Lotto bet card.

What is DST?

DST or Documentary Stamp Tax is a 20% tax levied on lotto ticket prices by the government by virtue of the Tax Reform for Acceleration and Inclusion Law (TRAIN Law).

PCSO commenced adding 20% DST on the prices of its tickets when the law came into force in 2018. Accordingly, 2D (EZ2), 3D (Swertres), 4D and 6D Lotto ticket prices rose from PhP 10 to PhP 12 while the 6/42, 6/45, 6/49, 6/55 and 6/45 Lotto tickets rose from PhP 20 to PhP 24.

On July 18, 2020, PCSO returned the price of its major lotto games to Php 20.

How many Advance Draws can I play in Lotto 6/45?

You can play up to 5 draws in advance or a total of 6 draws including the present draw. To play in advance, just pick your desired number of advanced plays in the DRAW section of the playing card. Your Megalotto 6/45 entry will then be played repeatedly according to the number of draws you picked.

For example, if you selected 6 Draws, your chosen 6/45 Lotto combination shall be valid for the six (6) consecutive Mega Lotto 6/45 draws including the current draw.

How do I Play Mega Lotto 6/45 System 12?

System 12 is the Megalotto system bet that lets bettors to pick a total of twelve (12) numbers instead of the typical six (6) numbers. This play type produces 924 combinations in all and costs PhP 18,480 (Php 20 x 924 combinations).

To play System 12, just select your preferred 12-number combination and then mark the number 12 in the SYS panel of the 6/45 Lotto playing card.

PCSO Updates and Official Announcements

March 10, 2021– PCSO reminds the public to not to patronize persons and entities claiming to be part of PCSO and enticing them to purchase tickets online using their platform. To date, the agency has no online betting platform yet whether through an app, text or calls.

January 6, 2021– PCSO 4-Digit and 6-Digit Lotto draws have resumed.

July 20, 2020– PCSO resumes its lotto operations on August 4, 2020 after suspending it for seveal months due to COVID-19 pandemic.

July 18, 2020– PCSO announces the return of the PhP 20 ticket price of its major lotto games. Prices were previously raised to PhP 24 after the TRAIN Law took effect.
