Here’s the complete instructions for playing this popular multi-million peso game:

1. Go to a PCSO-authorized lottery outlet near you and look for the Mega Lotto 6/45 bet slip.
2. Pick six (6) numbers between 1 to 45. These digits will be your 6/45 Lotto combination.
3. Choose the Lucky Pick (LP) option in case you have no combination in mind. This option allows the computer to randomly choose the number combination for you.
4. Optionally pick one of the options in the 6/45 Lotto System Play. With this option, you can mark more than the usual six number combination.
5. Choose the number of succeeding draws you want to play in the Draw panel.
6. Hand over your play slip and payment to the teller and get your generated ticket once printed.
7. View the 6/45 Lotto Result after the 9:00 pm live draw to verify if you won a prize.

Each 6/45 Lotto combination costs PhP 20, inclusive of 20% Documentary Stamp Tax (DST).

After placing your bet, sign the back portion of your 6/45 Megalotto ticket and keep it in secure and dry place.

6/45 Megalotto System Bets – Ways to Increase the Chances of Winning

You can increase your chances of winning the jackpot through 6/45 Lotto System Bets. This advanced option allows you to pick more than the usual six (6) numbers and creates numerous combinations of your chosen numbers.

In case you want to play system bets, these are the options you can select from- System 5-Roll (System 5R), System 7, System 8, System 9, System 10, System 11 and System 12.

With System 7, a player selects seven (7) numbers which produces a total of seven (7) combinations. In System 8, the player picks eight (8) numbers, creating a total of 28 combinations.

In short, more and more number combinations are produced as the marked numbers increase. This same rule applies to the rest of the remaining system plays.

In the case of System 5R, you only need to pick five (5) numbers instead of the regular six-number combination. The remaining unmarked numbers in the board (40 in all) will be matched with the 5 numbers you picked, thus producing 40 combinations in all.

Keep in mind that the higher the number of combinations, the higher the total ticket cost will be. The overall ticket price is PhP 20 multiplied by the number of combinations created.

You win a prize by getting at least three (3) numbers of the winning 6/45 Lotto number combination. The more matching numbers, the bigger the prizes you will receive.

If you match three (3) out of six (6), you receive PhP 30. Four (4) out of six (6) wins you a fixed amount equal to PhP 1,000 while five (5) out of six (6) gives you a prize worth PhP 32,000.

Only persons 18 years old and above are allowed to play the Megalotto. Aside from the age requirement, some limitations such as the No Mask-No Betting policy are also in place due to the current COVID-19 epidemic.

How do I Play Mega Lotto 6/45 System 8?

System 8 is the 6/45 Mega Lotto system bet that allows players to choose a total of eight (8) numbers instead of the typical six (6) numbers. This play type produces 28 combinations in all and costs PhP 560 (Php 20 x 28 combinations).

To play System 8, simply select your preferred 8-number combination and then mark the number 8 in the SYS section of the 6/45 Lotto bet card.

Is it possible to select more than 6 numbers in Mega Lotto 6/45?

You can select more than 6 numbers by playing any of the system bets for Mega Lotto 6/45. You can choose from System 7 (7 numbers), System 8 (8 numbers), System 9 (8 numbers), System 10 (10 numbers), System 11 (11 numbers) and System 12 (12 numbers).

You can also select only 5 numbers using the System 5-Roll. Take note that the total number of combinations is considered when calculating the total ticket cost.

In other special holidays such as December 24 (Christmas Eve) and December 31 (New Year’s Eve), PCSO shortens its draw schedule in such a way that all draws are finished early in the day.
